Chapter 4: The Fight

Mister Bug took one look back at Marinette before he chased after Matchmaker. He knew exactly where she was headed...The Agreste Mansion.

Marinette took a deep breath and stared at her wrist. She couldn't believe her mark was actually gone... Adrien was never meant to be her soulmate anyway. That's what she thought. I could never be a soulmate to him. I am such a simple simple girl. A tear rolled down her cheek. How could this happen?

Matchmaker had already swung into his room through the window. Mister Bug followed her.

"Don't do this Chloe! Please! I know you don't like Marinette, but she doesn't have to die!" For a second, Mister Bug thought he saw a hint of guilt and mercy in her eyes, but it went away quickly. "Chloe! Stop! Adrien isn't here!"

Mister Bug looked around for something an akuma could be hiding in, but found nothing. Suddenly, something shiny caught his eye that was in her pocket. He tackled her to the ground and crushed the pearl braclet under his foot. An akuma flew out and Mister Bug followed Ladybug's moves to de-evilise the akuma. Hm, that was easy.

Chloe collapsed to the ground and ran away imediately.

"Miraculous Ladybug!" Mister Bug shouted, and went after his lady right away.

Marinette watched as the magical ladybugs shot up from where Mister was fighting. She hesitated to look down at her wrist, but just had to.  There it was. Her mark wad back! Adrien was her soulmate once again! She spotted Mister Bug jumping from rooftop to rooftop in the distance. When he landed where she was, she imediately jumped up and threw her arms around him. "Thankyouthankyouthankyou THANK YOU!"

"For what?" He asked.

"For saving me! And my mark is back!..." Marinette, coming to realization, quickly pulled out of the hug, "aaandd you know who I am now. You probably weren't expecting such a simple girl, huh?"

"Simple? Princess you are perfect." Mister Bug said, with a genuine smile stretched across his face.

"Spots off." He said, revealing the handsome blond that Marinette was in love with. Her soulmate. She felt tears well up in her eyes. It all made sense now. Adrien was Chat Noir and Chat noir was Adrien. She had been right all along. She really did only have one soulmate.

They were just about to kiss, when a harsh voice screamed from behind them "Adrien!" He screamed, "What do you think you are doing?!" It was Gabriel Agreste. In the flesh! He was holding up the picture of them kissing....with the headline 'Adrien's New Girlfriend'

I know this chapter is very simple and short and I am not doing very well filling in time gaps, but I still hope you enjoy it!
