Marinette rang the doorbell outside of the gate and a robot eye answered. "Who are you?" "Marinette...I was invited to dinner." "Enter." Ordered the robotic voice as the tall gates swung open.
To her surprise, Adrien was standing on the other side of the gate with flowers for her.

Marinette happilt took the flowers and kissed his cheek. She still could hardly believe this was real.
He took her hand whispered in her ear "Dont be nervoud M'lady. He's only a grumpy old man" thwy laughed and walked in together.
"Father. Meet Marinette." Gabriel looked at her for a second and seemed to approve, "my girlfriend."
Gabriel led them to the dinner table and they sat down. Marinette was shocked. The dinner table was long and narrow. Gabriel sat by himself on one end, and there was a place for Marinette to take a seat next to Adrien. At this distance, it seemed they would likely need to shout to hear each other.
"So. You are the baker's daughter eh'"
"Yes. I also enjoy designing clothes and I would love to show you some designs if you would like sometime."
"Yes, certainly."
There were a couple seconds of silence.
"Let me take this time to tell you about what I approve and dont approve of."
Adrien looked surprised, "Father!"
