As always, Alexa was the last one to exit the classroom, even when she was eager to get to Rebekah. When she was at the door, she was confused by the view of everybody looking shocked at their phones.

As she saw Polo entering the hallway with Cayetana and everybody looking at him, Alexa took her phone out to see what was up. She had gotten a twitter notification. From Polo apparently. "Of course I killed Marina. Did you still doubt it?" Shit. Guzman has really gotten insane.

Alexa looked up from her phone to look at Polo, who didn't look well at all. She walked in anger towards her brother who she spotted at the end of the hallway with Samuel, acting as if he didn't write that. "Happy?" Alexa said to Guzman as she passed him, without stopping her walk to wait for a reply. "Not even close," Guzman replied to his sister who was now ahead of where he was.

She got a bit distracted from where she was initially supposed to go. To the lake to meet Rebekah. She was met with Carla and Yeray, who were now apparently a thing. Also, Nadia had a new boyfriend, some Malick. Could be a reason why Guzman was acting like a total asshole.

When she finally got to the lake, Rebekah was already there, sitting on the bench. "Hey. I'm sorry I was a bit caught up." Alexa said sweetly as she stood up in front of the girl. "Alexa, you may wanna sit down for what I'm about to tell you."

Alexa got scared and her expression changed immediately. Her intentions of apologizing to Rebekah for the scene she had caused before were forgotten. "Ander?" Alexa asked, fear and worry all over her voice and face. Rebekah nodded sadly and almost sorry.

"He hadn't been feeling well. And a couple of days ago I found him very sick in the boy's restroom. Don't ask why I was there. He opened up about having a doctors appointment. It seemed serious, not even his mom - or you knew. I got worried about him, so I made him take me with him to the appointment. That was the conversation you heard at the cafeteria".

"Yeah? So?" Alexa replied not really understanding the point. There was silence and hesitation from Rebekah. Okay, Ander went to the doctor, as everybody did. Alexa did not expect what she was hearing next.

"Alexa, Ander's sick. Very sick. He didn't want to tell anyone to not worry you guys, and he demanded from me to not tell anyone, but I feel like I can't keep this from you. I know how much you love him," Alexa wasn't stupid. She knew what Rebekah meant by sick. Alexa still had to ask, she had to be wrong for God's sake. "Sick how?" Alexa asked, tears already forming on her eyes. "He's got cancer."

Alexa got in shock. Rebekah had to be wrong, Ander was perfectly fine. He had to be. She immediately felt guilt, fear, and anger. She should have been there for him, but she wasn't for some stupid mistake he made. She should have gotten the cancer, not him. Some seconds passed as Alexa tried to process everything, Rebekah just looking at her in silence and concern.

Finally, Alexa broke down. She took her head on her hands and started to cry. Rebekah wasn't sure what to do, so she just put her hand on Alexa's back. "Thank you for telling me. And for being there for him," was the last thing Alexa said to Rebekah before storming off towards the entrance of Las Encinas.
