Sleep

RIDERS POV

I saw him looking back up at me and us making eye contact, he looked so confused and sad. I pulled him closer and felt his face bury into my neck and that's when everything went pitch black. I tried to look around, the power must've went out.
"Damn it!" I inhaled, clearly annoyed with a sigh. "H-Hold on Goggles stay right there" I climbed over him and looked around for the light switch. When I found it I tried to turn it back on but it seemed that the entire town was out of power. I grumble slightly pissed off now grabbing my phone off the desk and open the door, I use my phone flashlight to find the closet I grabbed a candle and walk back in searching the ground for a lighter. Once I found it I picked it back up lighting the candle and placing the lighter and my phone on the desk. I walk over and climb back over goggles laying down in my spot again, I turned my head over only to see him asleep, I smile softly and kiss the top of his head, wrapping my arms back around him and pulling him close to me, I close my eyes and end up falling asleep too.

MORNING

GOGGLES POV

I open my eyes to sunlight seeping through the window, I was in his arms. This wasn't some crazy dream, it was all real. I tried to to sit up but was just dragged back down by his arm around my waist. I looked at him and heard him groan, "Five more minutes.." He mumbled. I lay there staring at the ceiling for a bit until I feel him move a bit and hold himself up on top of me with his hands.
"Good morning.." He looked down at me with a smirk, I felt a wave of blush come across me so I covered my face with my hands to hide it, "Aww~ Don't hide your face from me." He sat down on my waist trying to pull my hands off of my face til he grabbed my wrists pinning them back down. "I said don't." He sounded very demanding at this point and I could feel my blush increasing by the second. He got up and stretched, I sat up a bit rubbing my eyes with the palms of my hands.
"So, I was thinking" He says to me.
"Hm..?" I respond, feeling quite exhausted from the previous day.
"I'd be willing to let you be my roommate- I know you've begged me about this in past and the opportunity is still up for grabs if you're down for it."
I gasped, my eyes widened with excitement, was he really asking me this? "Seriously! I'm totally down!" I made a huge smile, I felt so happy.

RIDERS POV

I saw his face light up like I'd never seen it before, I felt so happy. Things were really starting to turn around for me. I turn my head over to look at him again,
"Be ready by tomorrow, you should probably start heading back now so you can get your stuff together." I tell him.
"Okay!"
I watched as he hopped out of bed quickly and got his clothes back on, he rushed out into the kitchen grabbing his shoes which he had left next to the door,
"I'll be back later!" He yelled out
I could hear the excitement in his voice as he left, I couldn't help but smile a bit. I looked around in my room, I saw the candle I had left out from last night, it had burned out, yet added a nice scent to the room. I inhaled deeply falling onto my back and closing my eyes once again, falling back asleep.
