Chapter 5

MAGGIE'S POV

I opened my eyes and had a massive headache and felt weak. Why am I still here? I thought I died.

I then looked around the room and saw Austin. Only Austin.

Austin. I said weakly. He looked real tired, like that he hasn't slept in hours.

Maggie your awake? Austin says coming toward me. I nod and smile. He comes to me and hugs me tightly. Maggie don't ever do that ever again! You deserve to be here.  Alex, Rosie, and I all like you and love you. He says.

I smiled. Where's Rosie and Alex by the way? I asked. Oh Rosie and Alex went home like 3 hours ago, it's 12 at midnight now. He said smiling. Austin why are you still here, you need to go home and get some rest. You have school tomorrow. I said.

I'm not going to school tomorrow. I'm staying here til you get out. He said smiling. Austin you need to get some rest. I'm not letting you stay here. I said concerned. But.. Austin said. Go to sleep or go home. I'm fine. I said smiling. Oh wait Austin. I asked. Yes? He said. Well I umm sorta heard you say umm Why Maggie, I loved you to me before I passed out. I said shyly. He didn't reply, he looked a tab embarrassed.

AUSTIN'S POV

Crap! She heard me say it. I do love her, she's like the girl of my dreams. I wanna date her. I want to tell her the truth. But I'm afraid that things will get awkward and that she doesn't like me back.

I ignored her instead and went to get some blankets and a pillow from the closet. I made a little comfy bed on the couch. Maggie was just staring at me weirdly. She wanted to know. Bad.

Fine I will tell you Maggie. Only if you stop starring at me in a weird way. I said. She giggled and turned away. I knew she was blushing.

I uhh did say I loved you. In a friend way though, you know best friend way. I can't really live without you. Your like the best girl that ever came in my life. I know I only knew you for like 4 days. But I like you a lot Maggie. I'm fine if you don't feel the same way about me. But your such a beautiful, strong, amazing girl and your so funny and sweet.

Your just amazing. She looked at me with a shocked face. I knew she wouldn't like me the same way.

MAGGIE'S POV

What Austin just said to me was amazing. That was the nicest thing that anybody ever said to me since I was little. When I lived in a happy family. I liked him too. I never knew he would like me in this way. Why? Because I'm me. Just little old me.

I was tearing up because he's just so sweet. I loved him too but in a best friend way, but liked him in a boyfriend way. I wanna date him. He's amazing. He seems like he would treat me right. I'm just afraid that he only wants me for the sex. Wait what am I saying. He means all the things he just said to me. I can see it in his eyes, and Austin isn't like that. He's a sweet boy.

A-u-stin. I stuttered.

It's fine Maggie, I just ruined our friendship...... I know. Austin said.

What the hell, Austin. I love you too. I said smiling. I also like you too... in a relationship way. Your such a sweet boy, and you would take care of me and protect me. I know you would. Also Austin those were the most amazing words I wanted to hear since I was little. I said crying.

He blushed and smiled.

Okay, well we need to get some sleep. Goodnight Maggie. Austin said.

Goodnight Austin. I said and fell back asleep.
