Cooke's POV

I sat down on my new bed that I had been escorted to by the other roommates as the three girls, Naomi, Nany and Heather, sat across from me looking at me with what felt like hateful eyes. I shot them a warm smile to lighten the tension in the room.

"What did you do to your leg?" Nany asked in a disgusted tone pointing towards the large scabbed skin patch on my calf.

"um..soccer" I replied to her in a dragged out bored tone.

"you play soccer?" Nany asked another question which sounded more disgusted than the last.

"Yup...so." I turned to face Heather who was laying across Dustin's bed. "Are you and Dustin..?" I asked Heather.

"We're not like dating.." She replied.

"They're basically fucking though." Nany said in a slightly less pissed off jokey tone.

"So are you guys pissed that I'm not a boy?" I asked this time with a less happy expression on my face to match theirs.

"No" they all said simultaneously looking at each other sheepishly.

"Oh ok, good." I said looking down but catching Naomi and Nany look at each other as if they had just dooped me.

I watched as the three girls got up and left each giving me an empty goodbye as they walked off. I sensed non of them liked me which hurt but they seemed nice, maybe it was because their other roommate had left.

I walked into the kitchen going up to Leroy and Mike.

"Can I see your guys room?" I asked Leroy and Mike is a soft tone.

"Of course you can girl." Leroy replied placing his arm around my shoulder with Mike doing the same and guiding me to their room.

Nany's POV

I sat down next to Naomi pulling my legs up close to me wrapping my arms around them as Heather and Dustin sat a close opposite to us.

"Everything good comes in threes, then you add that forth one, that's when the problems start." Dustin said in a joking manner to the rest of us. After realising how ridiculous Dustin was being and how much I missed Adam I went over to the phone to call him.

"So you met the new roommate?" Adam asked me through the phone.

"Yeah...um...she seems cool" I said with a shakey voice knowing I was just lying not only to Adam but myself, I knew there would be no chance in hell that I'd even begin to like her.

"So she's cool?" Adam asked me

"Yeah I guess" I lied once more tugging at the phone cord.

"I just feel bad for the new roommate, guy or girl, just coming into that situation. And her being a girl that's a factor cause you guys are so close...you think she'll hook up with Leroy?"

"I was just about to say that" I laughed at Adam's remark as I ran my hand up and down my thigh. "I can guarantee you she will hook up with Leroy, she's seem really comfortable already, like one of those girls that can just come in here and get super comfortable."

"Ooh that's not good."

"No it's not good." I sighed as I played with loose strands of hair, saying goodbye to Adam and grabbing my packet of cigarettes. I saw Naomi going out the door to smoke so I quickly followed behind her.

"Do you think she's going to be a bitch?" Naomi asked me taking a drag of her cigarette as we sat outside on the bench.

"I don't know but I feel like she's going to fuck Leroy." I said looking at Naomi cautiously with a lit cigarette in my hand, I knew how Naomi felt about Leroy so I felt like pre-warning her would at least cushion the blow.

"Really?" Naomi said with a blank stare.

"I can guarantee it."

"Are you kidding me."

"No I'm not kidding."

Cooke's POV

Myself, Mike, Nany and Naomi were sat inside pink taco, I pitched the idea hoping that I could get to know the girls better yet again this seemed highly unlikely.

"So you have many girlfriends back home?" Nany asked me sweeping her hair behind her ear as she took a sip of her drink through the straw.

"Haha um I have a hard time making friends with girls." I said uncomfortablly as I look at Nany's lips wrapped around the straw of her drink.

"Oh right well..we'll make sure you're right at home." She replied bitterly yet smiled at me.

I sat their telling them stories of home, soccer games in which I won, I would look up at Nany and Naomi every so often, Naomi looking uninterested everytime I brought up soccer and Nany looking unintersted whenever I brought up my love life. Seeing Nany actually slightly interested when I spoke about soccer warmed my heart a little but talking to Nany was like running into a brick wall.
