Breathe 19: A day inside camp Merendelle: Codenames

I really feel Yoongi's lying to me about something but I can't tell what is it.... Last night and this morning! He hesitantly said 'yes' to me.. It was something...

"Jimin? Are you okay?" Elma asked as she tapped my shoulder. Oh, I forgot to knead the dough....

The two of us, together with our kids, Daewa and Jaeha are making bread for the meantime. It was for Yoongi and other youngmen who was currently training in the back of the main cottage. It was too sudden and I feel it isn't something good.

"U-uh.. Im okay." I smiled and she sighed in relief.

"I thought you were panicking again." She chuckled and kneads the dough for me. She got the other ingredients and gave it to me.

"Maybe you should bring it back to the fridge. We're almost done." She said and smiled. I got the left over ingredients and Put it back to the fridge one by one.

As I came back, I saw Elma, Daewa and Jaeha cheering happily. "We're done! We justneed to wait for 45 minutes pa." Jaeha said and smiled.

I smiled back and excused myself. I was thinking about Yoongi hyung once again. Is he really not lying at me? Should I doubt him?

"V-vanessa? What are you doing here?" I asked as I saw her getting a gun. She smirked and walked towards me.

"You thought I haven't heard anything, huh?" Does she??

"W-what about?" I nervously asked at her while trying to maintain my calmness. She looked at my eyes deeply and chuckled.

"Sorry Yoongi, you can't fool me by your relaxed exposure. I can read it in you eyes." She chuckled and cuts her index finger.

"What do you know? What do you want?"

"five days from yesterday huh.... Maybe I just wanna help you guys out. I can't let Elma fight for this. That dummy is too reckless. I can't afford to let her die." Vanessa spoke as the gun finally lighted and her codename was finally engraved in the magazine part.

"But is it okay for her?" I asked as she rolls her eyes.

"I wont tell her. If she'll know this, she'll probably freak out."

I nodded and looked at the men in front of me. They're so disciplined and I liked that. These men are much more better than my comrades back in my base before. I presume they'd learn how to use this gun easily.

"Do you see the letters and numbers engraved in your gun?" I asked and tgey answered 'yes' in unison.

"Those are your codenames. later, we'll get you another earpiece but much more not too suspicious to see. We'll call wach other by our codenames." I spoke.

"two days from now, our Alpha, Yoonjae will call us out into the Inventing cottage. There, we need to plan something for that day." I said. They nodded and-

"What do you mean by that Yoongi?" I heard a hiney voice from my back and its....

"Jimin? What are you doing here?" I asked. He smiled and showed what he got.

oh....

"Did you baked it for us?" He nodded and kissed my cheek. "It's salty you know?" I laughed, he rolled his eyes.

"So anyways, maybe we should tale a break and let's see each other in 30." They all broke their respective lines and Jimin and the rest distributed the bread they did for us. They even bought water for us.

"hyungie, what are you all up to?" Jimin asked as he gave me the bread and a cup of water. What should I answer about this?

"Hm.. it was an order from Yoonjae. If you think its something dangerous, don't worry it isn't. its just for taking turns of getting food. that's all." I lied.

Fortunately, Jimin buys the fat lie that came from my mouth. He smiled and hold my hand.

"I thought you were lying now... But I guess, you didn't. Thank you..." Jimin whispered. "-Im afraid you would lie to me, hyung."

Shit.

"I won't, angel. I promise."

Im so sorry...

I lied.

The attack is near and my hands are sweating. I hope you'll give me your thoughts okaay???
