Chapter 5

  The dreaded day comes quickly I was really nervous that Arlo kept comforting and was actually cuddly which surprised me. The rest of the pack knew as well so they did their best to stay calm and give me hugs. Arlo tired hard to make sure I was doing throughout the day before they came.  He stood with me as the Limo pulls up by the lodge . Leon was a commanding presence with Crystal beside him. He stood slightly in front of her shielding her Sid and Arlo follow suit in front of Liz and me being more protective the friendly to greet these people. I begin to raise my hackles and pose to make sure I could leap in front of Crystal and Liz in a jiffy id needed. I had excepted my postion without much hesitation my wolf content to be the Ceta pair. I looked at Arlo he clearly could be an Alpha but he refused ,he rather be with his sister then run his own pack which I admired in him. The door opens and I see a man with a deep scar over his eye and his hair pulled into a ponytail. A lady comes out with three little toddlers clinging to her. Her hair blonde and short ,her smile was cheery and bright . Then the next door opens and a tall lanky guy steps out holding the door open for a lady wore a faux fur coat and her blonde hair curled in perfection.I hear Liz and Crystal shift a little and a growl rumbles through the pack link. I begin to do so as well.The man with her hushly talks to the man that was clearly the Alpha . Then a young couple comes out the grin on the man was of a joker. We all relax abit and their daughter come out and I see Crystal wave. She waves back and comes running over to her. 

 " Crystal you're almost due!!Wow I missed you. You were saying you have a new friend ?" Crystal leads her to me . " I'm Lua nice to meet you." She reaches her hand out me to shake. 

 " I'm Zoey.Nice to meet you." I smile abit nervously , but we become quick friends. 

 " Who is this Crystal?" The Alpha and his mate come over ,curious .

 " I'm Zoey nice to meet you. I'm Arlo's mate." I reach my hand out The Alpha shakes it and his mate too smiling.

 " I'm Lupin, this is Ceo and our kids Kids James , Malinda, and Spencer . Welcome I hope you've settled in ok. " Lupin looks at me worriedly and Ceo smiles friendly. 

" She looks well loved hun don't worry Arlo has not stop keeping her in his vision. " Ceo smiles chuckling as I grow embrassed. " But what happened to your head are you ok?" She lightly pulls on a tuff of my hair sticking out. 

 " A tree fell on my cottage and broke my window spray glass all over my head but I'll be ok. " I smile liking her alot . The little ones eye me curiously  and James then reaches for his dad .  Lupin takes him up in his arms smothering in kisses which makes James giggle. Ceo frowns. " I'm fine I promise just needed stitches and a few days off work." 

 " Ok as long you're going to be Ok." Lupin says. Ceo nods; Malinda heads to the ground and totters abit but makes her way over to me . I crouch and I pick her up. She laughs holding on to my shirt .

 " You like kids I see." Ceo smiles as she watches  Malinda play with my necklace .Ero and Saira come over. " This is Ero and this is Saria."Ceo introduces us. Saria looks at me and Ero shakes my hand smiling.

" Welcome Miss Zoey hope you happy in your new pack ." He says quietly politely with Saira behind who shakes my hand for a brief second but she sanitizes right after scowling .

" You're a rouge." She states . I feel like I was falling through the floor.Arlo steps infront of me a growl escapes his throat . 

She walks away with Ero as she waddles abit from weight of her growing stomach . Crystal ,Lua ,Liz and I go towards the girls dorm . I saw a slight smirk on Arlo's face calmed down already  as I look back at him as I'm dragged along.I couldn't help but laughing though when I get pushed on the bed and tickled .I laugh and then hear a tiny knock on the door . We all look around curious not expecting anybody.I get up and open looking around then down and laugh as little Milanda was there sucking her thumb. 

" Girls .I wanna ." Is all we get out of her and she holds her other hand up towards me. I pick her up. We all begin to fuss over her and each other doing make up and nails and such . Crystal was relaxing on her bed rubbing her stomach for awhile before we notice that she was experiencing abit of pain. As Milanda sleeps in a chair . I walk over concerned. 

 " Crystal are you feeling ok ? " All the other girls look at her and she nods. 

" I'm just feeling kicked as the child is kicking my ribs. " She laughs a little wincing then . We all chuckle and the burst out laughing when she talks again. " They have their fathers personalty throwing the why when he doesn't get what he wants . "

 " Excuse me but I don't pout like a 5 year old and  I'm just that good at you making it you're own suggestion. "  Leon piped up in mind chat. We all giggle at that . Crystal huffs but doesn't reply  as shes to busy laughing with us. I then felt a soft brush at my mind that was brushing against it softly . I mind explore it and travel down the link to Arlo's mind . I was abit shocked that he let me in .His thoughts were blurry the one clear thing his love for me hence his constant stroke and warmth . He must of felt my worry and was trying to comfort me. 

" Arlo I'm fine I was just worried for Crystal but she is ok. "  I got no reply but the petting continued.I now kinda got worried about it and looked around at the girls .  I stand up they all look up. " Forgive me girls but I'm going to find my mate . I need to I just the feeling he wants and needs me where he is. " The girls nod understanding wishing me well and contiue to relax now that we were all played out.

  "As I was saying Leon the spilt of the Lunar pack has tipped the balance of the consuel against us the side still faithful to us has become fanatic and old fashion they refuse to move into the 21 century. The other half sides with the south packs and have now moved there taking all those who are will and not with them." Lupin explained . 

" The ones on our side believe that we need to go back to our history to survive and are trying to make others see that " Fratizing " with humans shouldn't happen . If we are to survive we need to hide. " Leon says nodding understanding and had heard the words before. He looked over at Arlo who was silent his mind was clearly elsewhere as a smile played on his lips."Arlo ." Arlo blinks and shakes his head. 

" Forgive me I was thinking. I think we need to bring the whole consuel together all the packs in the near future we could house them here on your land Leon and we could get you fathers help. We might need to get ready to fight . With the ways things are going we need to unite the packs before this happens or we will have huge inner war on our hands.
