Chapter 3

Tia pov

I looked out the window to the sea. It looked so peaceful. I then moved my eyes over to the boat that was being prepared for my birthday party.

Ring ring

"Hello" I sighed as i picked it up.

"happy birthday to you happy birthday to you-" my best friend namjoon Sung.

"Stop your giving me a head ache"I began to yawn.

"Grouchy! will I be as moody as you when I turn 24?" he said in his annoying sarcastic tone. I rolled my eyes "What ever".

"So your birthday boat party. Is being set up now ready for the guest at 5 and to set sale at half 6. Should give enough time for people to arrive" he went into his namjoon personal assistant tone. "You do so much for me" I sighed.

"We're friends" he sounded smug.

"Well I do pay you" I laughed.

"That to" he laughed back at me.

"See you in an hour" he then put down the phone.

It took a hour for me to get ready with the help of my hair, make up and clothes stylist. i wore a summery flowery dress.

once ready I came down the large stairs in the middle of the palace to see namjoon at the bottom in his shirt and shorts.

"Gorgeous" he said taking my arm. "You to mr kim" I grinned at my best friend.

"Where's jungkook?" I looked around for my little brother.  Well I say little he's a lot taller then me.

"I'm here" he shouted rushing down the stairs with his girlfriend. The delicate daughter of the duke. "Hello iris" I said as i watched her adjust her skirt and blushed. "Happy birthday princess" she said not meeting my eyes.

"Let's get going" Namjoon said as i grab his arm excited.

"Children" we heard coming from dads office. I rolled my eyes and let go of namjoon. I went inside the office followed by jungkook. Dad (the king) looked at me up and down.

"How long is the dress?" He asked. "Dad-" I frowned. "Tia, how short" he said putting his pen down. "It's half a inch shorter" I mumbled. "Go get changed" he pointed at the door.

"dad" I shouted. "It's to short" he didn't look at me as he sat back down and picked up some paperwork.

"It's fine!" I crossed my arms in protest.

"Tia" he smiled and I turned my head sulking looking away. "You are the princesses. You will be queen" he sighed.

"I told you to just make jungkook the next in line" I mumbled. "Tia"he snapped. "Mum would let me" I put on the irritating winney voice he hates referring back to the dress.

"Well your mother is away on business. So I'm in charge" he put his pen down and then took his glasses off placing them on the desk.

"Let me off this one time! I'm 24 today. Come on I'm not a kid" I argued.

"Jungkook do you think I should let her off?" He asked him. "No-" jungkook said with a smirk and I stamped on his foot. "Ouch!" He shrieked out in pain.

"See even your brother agrees with me" dad smiled as if he has won.

"Iris was in his ro-" i was going to say room but jungkook put his hand over my mouth.

"Actually Tia dress is fine. We better go" he said still hand on my mouth. Dad sighed and nodded. "Fine but next time I would like the length of the dress-" he said.

I bite my brothers hand before I ran over and flung my arms around him. jungkook screamed in pain. but i totally ignored it!

I kissed dad on the cheek. "Thank you daddy" I said in my squeaky innocent voice. "Be good birthday girl" he kissing the top of my head. "Always daddy" I said before running out.

We went outside and we was greeted by the staff for the boat party. I said my hellos and then boarded the boat were my friends and people who wanted to be my friends were arriving. I felt a bit nervous as some of them were just people I know but I don't trust. Especially for the 3 women that just got on. One I had known since I was small, we were very close young but as we got older she wanted everything I wanted. She even tried to take namjoon away from me! It didn't work thou as you can see.

I said my fake greetings to them and they went inside. "Why did you invite them!" I snapped at namjoon. "Because I couldn't not" he whispered. 

Everyone was on and the boat set sail. "We're going a bit far out aren't we?" Jungkook stood next to me as we both looked around at the ocean. "Yeah" he was right. We're pretty far from land. "What's the weather forecast?" I asked. "It was clear. Let me check" Namjoon said.

"Shit.. it's rain and thunder" he looked at me worried. "It's fine.. it's fine let's just party inside and not on deck" I said trying to keep calm. I tried my hardest to not let the weather forecast put a downer on my birthday party! We danced and drunk. It was hell of a great party nothing could ruin this party...
