Chapter 1

"Itay! Gumising kayo!!! ITAY!!!..."(Dad! Wake up!!! DAD!!!)

"PHIL! ALI NA!"(PHIL! LET'S GO!)

"WAAAG! WAG NINYO IWANIN SI TATAY!! KUYA"(NOOO! WE CAN'T LEAVE DAD!! BIG BRO!)

"WALA NA TAYONG MAGAGAWA PHIL TARA NA!"(WE CAN'T DO ANYTHING PHIL WE HAVE TO GO!)

Martial's pov:

I woke up with a gasp after having a nightmare about my father and brother. I had been having this dreams ever since for how long. It had become a usual for me to wake up from my nightmares.

It had been 74 years since I had became an independent country. My nightmares started when I was first colonize by 3 countries. 333 years I was colonized by spain. 64 years I was colonized by america and 5 years I was colonized by japan.

Being completely honest being colonized by japan had been far worst than being colonized by america and spain. Most of my people died in time of being colonized by japan.

I went out to the balcony staring at the stars. Remembering those moments made me furious. Wondering how my brother felt from all those. I just have to make sure we don't have to face those again. I then remembered giving my leadership to my brother after things were a bit peaceful nowadays.

I just know that he would be a great leader since I couldn't help making friends and trusting them like Philip.

I sighed and went to the kitchen to grab some water. I drank it all up and went back to bed.

Phil's pov:

(morning)

I woke up from my alarm and it was already 8 am in the morning. I got dressed and went downstairs and I saw malay making breakfast and indo reading the news.

"morning sleepy head. Hey you know where Martial is? "

"mmhh... Morning Indo... He's still asleep"

"Must have slept late at night after doing those project of he offered to help, seriously if I hadn't seen martial for myself I would have thought he was an angel in the beginning.

"Yeah I haven't even known it was martial when I saw him again. You too are exactly the same."

"I know right his smile is like an angel. Feels like I can finally tell that both of you are twins hahaha. "

"I thought the flag was obvious enough."

"yeah once I saw it was switch I was shock!!!"

"Oh by the way did you know that china's being a jerk again"

"but he's is always a jerk"

"aww he's not so bad malay"

"haha only you phil would think like that"

"yeah bro you gotta know about ame and china going at it at the lunch room"

"huh? Really... Guess I wasn't there cause i don't remember anything."

"yeah you got called by sir ASEAN about the homework you miss"

"groan!... "

"chill Phil come on eat up you don't wanna be left behind for school"

"yeah yeah... Just this... KUYA GUMISING KANA MA LATE KA SA SCHOOL!!!... okay we can go know"

I finish breakfast and pack my bag.  I got together with Malay and Indo. Me, Indo and Malay had been close friends like for so long considering are similarities and our love for rice.

We got into the car while Indo drives us to our school, Pangaea Academia. We reach school and the first thing we saw was a crowd and as we got close it was china and America going at it in the school front yard. Some of them where cheering America on. Until we saw sir UN came and stop them.

We heard the bell ring and we went to our first class. I saw ame  next to my sit and I saw him winked at me. I rolled my eyes and sat beside him. Sir Britain was the one discussing and I don't really much remember what he was talking about country and socializing with each other. The class was over and I was about to leave when ame said to meet him near the roof of the school at lunch.

I guess I already know what he was going to talk about with me concerning about my alliance with Russia and China. Two of the worst rivals in all of the countries.

Class went by quickly and I was about to go to the canteen when I remember what ame said. 

I went to the roof after buying lunch for me and ame. As I reach the top I saw ame sitting there waiting until he saw me. He brought his hands up telling me to come closer to him.

I went near and he cup my cheeks and start rubbing it gently. He had a gentle smile in his face as he look at me with his shade. I don't really know what he's thinking cause I couldn't see the emotion in his eyes much.

He open his mouth slowly and said my name.

"Phil... "

I didn't look at him in the eyes and he brought my face close to him and told me what I expected.

"Phil... I don't want you to Ally with Russia and China. I know they are just trying to use you."

"but... but... I... We don't know that...  Look ame... I'm just trying to make some new friends there's nothing wrong with that. Right... "

He let go of my face and pinch the bridge of his nose and look at me with dissapointed eyes. The expression he always use on me to get exactly what he wants.

"no Phil.  Tell me it's either me or them Phil you can only choose one of us."

I was stunned I know that he forces me to do things and also supports me in the things he only thinks is the best for me to do but to actually make me choose after years of being allies together. I know that it was really happening right now.

"I... Umm... I... I'll think about it... Ame"

"sigh" "okay but you have to listen to Phil okay"

He then left me at the rooftop lonely to think about what he asked me. I know ame had helped me a lot in my country but I just know deep inside that as the years gone by we were slowly losing that friendship. Ame just forgets his promises as long as he doesn't want it.

I went back to the cafeteria and saw my brother, martial already there talking with NK and Russia.

I notice my brother change a lot over the years he seems more happy but sometimes I feel like he's hiding something from me.  Oh well he saw me walking towards him and he smiled at me telling me to come closer to him.

I smiled back and we had a fun time talking. Malay and indo sat beside us and we all had a nice chat until ame came.

I saw my brothers features change but it was only for a second that I thought I might have imagine it. I saw ame frowning at me and glaring at Russia. Russia glared back and they started fighting again. I saw my brother rolled his eyes and didn't do anything while I was panicking a bit.

It wasn't until ame was about to punch Russia and he dodged hitting NK instead when it became a brawl.

I saw my brother move in between them and stop Russia from fighting back.  Russia calm down, also ame and NK and told them to stop and then left to go to his next class with NK (glaring at both of them) following martial since they were in the same section and subject. Leaving both Russia and Ame to go to there own since they were both leading countries and the same section.

I noticed they were both staring at martial with weird looks on their faces.

The bell rang and it was about to be the next class.
