PERSONALITY:Joy doesn't come easily for Medusa. Not anymore. At one point, she was able to laugh and smile with the rest of them, but that isn't the case anymore. Her severe depression makes it difficult for her to play the part of the happy woman she wants to pass herself off as. She's extremely distrustful of people she doesn't know, especially men. She often can't even force herself out of bed due to the depression. She feels as if all the color has drained out of the world. She feels simply empty more than she feels actively upset. She just can't muster anything to feel any emotion whatsoever any more. She usually just stays inside of her own house so she doesn't have to face the outside world and socialization. She can sometimes muster a smile or a laugh, but it's usually extremely hollow, with no real conviction behind it. She genuinely just doesn't know how to feel happy anymore. She perpetually just feels numb, blocking out all of her negative emotions. She used to be very outgoing, but that's changed. She hates interacting with people who she doesn't know and she's absolutely terrified of parties and other social events, usually being sent into a panic. She stays with people who she trusts, her friends that she cares about. She stays far, far away from people who she finds to be suspicious. She does try to get better. She does. She just struggles a great deal with her recovery. She does try to stand up for other people who have been hurt like she was. She doesn't want this sort of thing to happen to anyone else. She largely speaks out against toxic masculinity and rape culture. The only time she truly feels brave is when she's standing up for other people. She attends protests and marches for women's rights.

BACKSTORY: She was raised by a father who was never very accepting of her. He threw her out of the house as soon as she turned sixteen and came out as transgender. She stayed at charities for awhile before she made her way to Camp on her own and lives there full time. She was sexually assaulted when she was eighteen.
