Seth had everyone knocked out with Seth in front of them. "Now to get you, again!" Seth sneered. "Not so fast, asshole. You've definitely pissed me off, and you are not 'getting me' today, nor anytime soon. It's about time that we settled this," Tyler said. "I'll make you a deal then. You give me Missouri and make her my wife, and in exchange, I'll leave you and your family alone for the remainder of time," Seth offered. "Jikan Freeze!!" Tyler casted, and time froze. "Wh-what are you g-going to d-do to me?" Seth gritted out, still frozen in time. "First and foremost, I am forcing you to tell me what the hell you are doing here, and why. Now speak!" he commanded, also silently casting a Truth spell. "I'm here to have Missouri be mine. I am utterly in love with her. But her stupid friend Lily, aka your wife, always gets in the way so I must destroy her like I did with Netty Brown fifteen years ago and tried to with Nick twenty-one years ago," Seth confessed angrily. "Huh. Well, that's interesting. Does she love you back?" he prodded, and unfroze him. "Wait, why did you unfreeze me?" Seth asked, and Tyler shook his head. "I don't believe in torture, Seth. I just want answers, plain and simple. So, can I have an answer?" he said gently, and Seth was dumbstruck, but he was able to nod. "She never gave me the chance. She seemed to give everyone else a chance. She treated me like she hated me," Seth answered calmly with his head down. "Seth, you realize that she does this because of what you have done in the past, right?" Tyler asked, and he saw Seth's fists clench in anger. "I mean before that, you idiot!" he yelled angrily at Tyler. "Alright, alright! Sorry...I had no idea. Would you like me to summon her then, so that way, you two can tell each other your thoughts for one another?" he suggested. "Why the hell do you sound like a relationship counselor, not an interrogator?" Seth asked, confused. "Well, I am trying to help both of you, so...yeah. Also, I don't like interrogations. I've had my fair share of them in my past as well, Seth," he explained, and Seth calmed down. "I'd say yes and agree to that but Lily tried before and Missouri punched me in the nose," Seth admitted, and Tyler broke into laughter, to which Seth glowered. "Now, that is funny. She punched you in the nose? Damn, I see how it is then. I will allow no physical violence, ok?" Tyler sputtered between hiccups from too much laughing. "Alright, also can we not have Lily around? She can be a bit bitchy and unnecessarily violent with her words and actions when she chooses to be," Seth requested with a hint of shame in his voice. "Fair enough. My wife will not be present, just you, me, and Missouri. Deal?" he confirmed, and Seth nodded. "Deal. Also, Lily can hear all this, you know, that right? She has a spell on her that lets this happen." Seth smiled.
Confused, Tyler put his fingers to his temple and frowned. "Why do you call her 'Lily', not Lee or Kate? And secondly, no, she can't. I've temporarily deactivated her powers, for the sake of privacy," he inquired. Seth laughed slightly. "I call her that because that's where I met her. She went by the name Lily and her name story is hella confusing. Also, I am thankful you did the spell to deactivate her magic, but she didn't do the spell on her creating that ability. Missouri has the spell on her too," Seth answered. Rolling his eyes, he unfroze Missouri and teleported her over to them.
"Now, Missouri, I know you might hate his guts or whatever, but for now, it's therapy time. You two are not allowed to get physically violent, verbally abusive, or any of that. Is that clear?" Tyler addressed the two of them. Missouri nodded. "First, please ask Seth to temporarily remove that unable to be frozen in time charm on Lee. She can still hear this. Also, that was boring being frozen. I thought one of my kids did again to steal a snack past bedtime," Missouri requested, and the two guys laughed so hard that they fell off their chairs. "They do every night! Nick is the one who catches them because he is not affected at all for some reason," Missouri said, now visibly annoyed, which brought Tyler and Seth up short. "Wait, what?!" the two said, and Tyler facepalmed. "Ok, now that I know that, Jikuu Reiki!!" he casted, and over there somewhere, Nick froze completely. "Shit! How did this happen??" Tyler heard, and laughed. "Oops. Now then, I cannot do the first request. If she can hear everything said, then I deem that it's fine," Tyler said, and instantly, Missouri jumped up from her seat in anger. "Are you crazy!? Lee has anger issues. She hates him. I don't need her mad at me too. Plus she gets mad if she sees/hears someone talking to some she hates if she gets along with the person!" Missouri lost it. "Missouri, please, calm down!" Seth pleaded, and she actually listened. "We still need to do something about Lee," Missouri said frantically but partially calm. "Ok, we will, ok?" Tyler said, stressed. "Erase her memory of this event after you cast the spell?" Missouri proposed. "Is that possible?" the guys both asked, and she nodded. "Right. I will then," Tyler agreed. "Plus I do it often with her." Missouri laughed uneasily.
"Before we do this conversation, I want to know why Lee and Seth hate each other. Can we know?" Missouri inquired. "Is it a different reason?" Tyler asked Seth. "Very different." Seth smiled. "Mind sharing?" Tyler asked. "Certainly. So this will have been 35 years ago tomorrow. Lily and I didn't know each other well, and I've seen her when she'd use the park teleport device; she's seen me play with Lenora at the park. So one day, her and I both happened to go to the cloakmakers' shop. We both saw the coolest design and rushed in. There was only enough for one of us to get an outfit. So the lady there suggested we do rock, paper, scissors for it. I lost and jokingly swore my revenge on her, the foul witch, for beating me the powerful warlock. A week later, I accidentally hit her with a water balloon and it's been an ongoing feud ever since. Speaking of which, I should point out I am actually not Missouri's age, but I'm six years older, or was until Lenora messed up a spell freezing us in time for six years at age 7." Seth explained. "Now this makes me want to teleport her in so that you can explain that was a misunderstanding," Tyler mused aloud. "Don't bother, it won't help things," Missouri argued. "Now, Missouri, I make the calls here. I would like to clear up some things before we continue with your issue, alright? I want to help the three of you, all at once, no picking favorites," Tyler explained, and reluctantly, she nodded assent. Snapping his fingers, he both unfroze her and teleported her into the room at the same time, and her eyes went wide. "Kate, I believe that Seth here has some explaining to do. Seth, take it away, if would please?" Tyler directed the question towards him, and he drew in a deep breath. "Lily, I have a confession to make...when I said I would gain vengeance all those years ago, I never meant it. I didn't mean to hit you with that water balloon, and I want us to be friends if we can. I promise not to harm your children again," Seth murmured quietly, and Kate was stunned. "But you also set my hideout on fire 15 years ago! I lost a lot of stuff!" Kate said angrily. "To be fair, you made me fail my university classes by hacking into the system," Seth shot back. "Both of you, knock it off! If we want this resolved soon, we have to put the past behind us. Errors have been made by both parties, and we can prevent future ones," Tyler mediated. "Do you know all the damage that's been done between them?" Missouri asked Tyler while the two ignored him, bickering on. "I actually knew she was in a feud with someone, saved her a couple times from his attempts, and stopped her from going overkill a few times. I never knew it was him though. I mean she does have a lot of enemies but I wouldn't have guessed," Tyler admitted. "We actually once made a potion because she wanted to kill him. She was about eight at the time," Missouri said, a faraway look on her face. Tyler then remembered that memory orb. "I know, I've seen a memory orb of that," Tyler informed her. "It also probably proves Lenora's point that Lee might be a psychopath," Missouri answered. "A psychopath? I don't really think so, actually, although she may be a bit nuts at times," Tyler retorted. "I still have a cup of the potion she asked me to keep, just in case," Missouri said guiltily, and he smirked. "Wow, I am not surprised! Alright then. Can we continue with the issue at hand, please?" he asked all of them.
The two were still squabbling. "What do you mean you ripped my favourite book!? At least I set your warlock outfit on fire!!" Kate screamed. "You bitch!!" Seth screamed. "This really is outta control!" Missouri said to Tyler. "HEIWA!!!" Tyler casted, and those two shut up, falling into peace. "Thank you," Missouri whispered, but then gasped in fear as she saw his eyes: they were as white as the Sun, and they were narrowed. Kate and Seth just gulped in fear and hugged each other, but then recoiled. 'Any one...gaaaah!!! I need you to cast a...AAAAAARRGH!!!! Spell that is Light type!!! I'm going...RRRRRRGGHHH Overdrive!!!' he telepathically screamed in all of their heads, and they all stood up at once. "Guess we have to put aside our differences to save your husband's life, huh, Lily?" Seth asked. "Please. It would help a lot, and I can promise that we have no more problems from here on out, ok? I want us to be friends," pleaded Kate, and Seth smiled. "Let's do this!" Missouri shouted over the tumult.
