One afternoon in the Fairy Tale World, twins Hikari and Jackson MacMillan were walking home from school with their little sister Carolily MacMillan, while their parents Tyler and Kate MacMillan were at work. "Can we go to the park, Big Sis?" Carolily asked. Jackson checked the time on his watch. "Well, Dad's working late and Mom wants quiet while she preps for work tonight and it's only 3:30," Jackson said. "I wanna go too. Plus we have time." Hikari smiled. "Alright! Let's go!" Jackson smiled. So, the three kids headed to the park. At the park, they saw their cousins, David and Liliana. "Hey!" David smiled. "Wanna play tag with us?" Liliana asked, excited. "Yeah!" Hikari, Jackson, and Carolily squealed, put their bags down, and ran to play with their cousins.

Meanwhile, near the park, Seth Drew was plotting his latest scheme. He then spotted the MacMillan kids at the park with Missouri's kids. He then had a wonderful idea, turning himself into a kid around nine. "Perfect," he said, impressed. "Now for a name because their parents probably told them about me. Hmmm," he thought aloud. "What're you doing now, Seth?" his twin sister Lenora asked, coming out of the bakery. "Planning my revenge on Missouri and her friend Lily," Seth answered, turning back to his normal age. "Still! Missouri is married. Get over the fact she picked Netty Brown then and Nick now," Lenora spat. "You don't understand!" Seth said, annoyed. "Understand you can't accept rejection? I understand quite well," Lenora answered. "But she didn't even give me a chance," Seth pouted. "I know, but not everyone with a crush gets a chance to be with them," Lenora lectured. "Still!" Seth complained. "You're being evil for no reason except rejection," Lenora flatly stated. "Am not!?" Seth protested like a little kid. "I'm not letting you hurt them Seth. You've caused enough trouble," Lenora said sternly. "What if i..." He asked trailing off making her mute. Seth then turned back to a nine year old kid and walked over to the kids. "Hi! Can I play?" Seth asked. "Sure, we're playing tag." Hikari smiled. "Liliana is it!" David yelled while he pointed at his sister, who was chasing Jackson, who was giving Carolily a piggy-back ride. "What's your name?" David asked Seth. "I'm Horatio." Seth gave his middle name. "Horatio...what a funny name! But hi, my name is David! Nice to meet you!" David said cheerfully and extended his hand to shake. "Um, I don't do handshakes, sorry," Seth said, embarrassed, and David tilted his head curiously. "Oh, never mind. Come on, run!" David squeaked as he dodged his sister.

While the kids played, a few blocks away, Tyler was walking home from work. When he got home and opened the door, it seemed quiet. Too quiet. Is Kate making the kids be quiet while she finishes up her prepping for work tonight or are the kids not home yet? Tyler wondered. "Hello?" he called. "Hey Tyler! The kids with you or did they get distracted again at the park?" Kate called from another room. Tyler explored the house to find Kate and her papers all over the kitchen table with toast nearby. "Kids are at the park and I thought you hate toast?" Tyler eyed the toast. "I do, doesn't mean I won't eat it." She took a bite of it, to which he rolled his eyes. "So how's the paperwork going?" Tyler asked. "Good, almost done; how was work?" She scribbled a note down on a paper. "Tiring. So, opening show tonight?" Tyler asked, referring to the play Kate was helping in as part of the tech crew. "Yep, and I have Hikari's, Jackson's, Carolily's, and your tickets somewhere in my pile of papers." She rummaged through them. "They're in your hair, silly." Tyler chuckled as he pulled them out of her pigtails. "Right! I need to get to the theater. See ya." Kate kissed his cheek after cleaning her papers into a laptop bag and headed for the door. "Did you eat lunch?" Tyler walked her to the door. "Bye, I'll bike through the park and tell the kids to head home on the way." She avoided the question by grabbing her helmet, and left. "What am I going to do with her and eating?" Tyler mumbled to himself, annoyed at her while shaking his head, then turned to teleport to his study.

Within a couple minutes, the kids were home. Tyler went to greet them at the door. "Stop retaliating Kari!" Carolily whined. "You don't even know what that means! So stop using that word." Hikari whined. "But mom uses that word all the time! So why can't I?" Carolily whined on. "Dad, they've been fighting since Mom told us to head home. Please help!" Jackson said to Tyler in annoyance before leaving to go do his after school chores. "Daddy! What's 'retaliate' mean?" Carolily asked Tyler. "Dad, tell her not to use words she doesn't understand!" Hikari complained to Tyler. "Okay girls stop fighting for one. Lily, Retaliate is when someone does something to you and you do the same or worse back to them and Kari, you need to stop getting so upset with Lily over everything but she's right here Lily, use words you know. Okay?" Tyler asked. "Okay Dad." Hikari nodded and left the room. "Why does Mommy use that word a lot though!? Does she retaliate a lot?" Carolily asked. "Sometimes dear. Everyone does at some point." Tyler answered. "Okee." Carolily smiled. "Now let's go take care of your after school stuff." Tyler smiled at her. "Okay Daddy!" Carolily squealled.
