Disclaimer: far from all littles have set little ages. Those that do, like myself, oftentimes base their preferred ages on what activities they enjoy in littlespace, how they behave in littlespace, and what generally feels good to identify with. It is perfectly fine and not any less valid to be a little who does not identify with a specific little age, or regress to different ages all the times. The information below is very general, and of course not everyone will do all things associated with their preferred age.
🌻🌻🌻
~0-1 year old
- Often nonverbal or only very simple words and baby talk.
- Commonly enjoys wearing diapers during littlespace.
- Likely to enjoy drinking from a bottle and being fed when eating.
- Very needy and enjoys being held and cuddled lots.
- Typically uses a pacifier and/ or safety blanket.
- Plays with simple toys like blocks and rattles.

~2 - 3 years old
- Often getting more verbal but still using a lot of baby talk with broken sentences.
- Likely to still wear diapers but can be able to use potty.
- Might prefer a sippy cup over a bottle.
- Still very needy and often very playful and resourceful in playing.
- Typically still uses a pacifier and/ or safety blanket and is likely to have stuffie friends.
- Is a lot more susceptible to playing and simple games.

~4-5 years old
- Does no longer struggle with talking, but may mispronounce some words.
- Is capable of going to the toilet but needs help and may have some accidents. Possibly still uses pull-ups when sleeping.
- Probably drinks and eats like a big kid, but in need of some help.
- A lot more independent but still enjoys cuddles a lot.
- Some may still use pacifier. Generelly prefers stuffies for comfort.
- Plays a lot, alone and with others. Has an interest in movies and games, has favourite characters, and probably more advanced toys like barbie dolls and favourite action figures.

~6-7 years old
- Talking and forming sentences like any adult would.
- Goes to the toilet successfully on their own without accidents.
- Does not struggle with eating or drinking anymore.
- Is very independent. Does not need a lot of help, but can find comfort in it.
- May not enjoy stuffies as much, as they probably prefer toys for bigger kids.
- Plays a lot still but also enjoys calmer activities like watching movies, reading and making art.

~8-10 years old
- Is likely very cocky and bragging, commonly talks back.
- Will be mad when caregivers try to help with things because they are big enough themselves.
- Taste is getting more mature though childish foods are still preferable.
- Is very dependent and likely thinks they are older and more capable than they really are.
- May not enjoy toys as much anymore. Stuffies are probably too childish.
- Enjoys watching favourite movies, playing video games, and partaking in sporty activities.
