Midas x Reader One Shots

Big Day

"This is it, y/n. You'll be fine ok? All you have to do is walk up to him and you know the rest." Skye said as she pinned y/n's hair back into braids.

"I know it's not that big of a deal but.. what if I trip? What I, I don't know, walk funny?" Y/N said, her nerves going crazy as she got ready for what's ahead of her.

TNTina came out from the closet with y/n's shoes and smiled a bit. "You'll be just fine. Like Skye said, alright? Cmere." She said and waved her hand.

Y/N stood up once Skye was finished with her hair, going over to Tina. She slid on her shoes that were white with gold on the bottoms and the heel.

"Where did you find these? The gold is so pretty on them.." Y/N asked.

"Your man has a golden touch silly. They were the cheapest prettiest shoes ever." Tina said jokingly as she helped her stand up.

"You look so pretty! I bet Midas's jaw will hit the floor!" Skye said as she clapped a bit and jumped up and down.

"I don't think so." Y/N said.

Tina turned around a mirror to show y/n to herself. She watched as y/n's eyes sparkled at the sight of herself.

"Oh.." y/n said and she just smiled. "I am pretty." She said, feeling so much confidence suddenly boost within her. She smiled and twirled a bit. "Ive always been scared a Id never find a pretty wedding dress that fits me. Thanks to you guys I've managed do that." She said softly, staring at herself in awe.

"Well, today is your big day. There's no going back after this and there's nothing we can let happen that will ruin today. You look beautiful land you're going to walk down that aisle in just 20 minutes. Everyone is going to love you and your dress." Tina said and she gently held y/n's hand.

Y/N smiled and tried not to tear up, "guys stop, my mascara will start running!" She said and giggled.

Skye came up and carefully hugged y/n. "We have to go. But I wish you the bestest luck." She said before pulling away. She was the flower girl after all, and of course Ollie called being the ring bearer.

Y/N just hummed and nodded, smiling at the two. "Thank you guys, now go because you guys are late." She said and shooed them out.

The three of them all smiled, Skye and Tina gave y/n a thumbs up before they left. Y/N let out a breath and she looked in the mirror, just talking to herself now.

Midas stood at the end of the aisle, next to him was Peely and Meowscles. Meowscles of course made sure everything today was perfect, he was Midas's best man after all.

Midas looked around a bit as he just stood up straight, his palms getting sweaty. He looked over his shoulder and saw Meowscles give him a thumbs up. He smiled and took a deep breath before looking down. It wasn't long before Skye and Ollie we're walking down the aisle, Skye tossing rose petals behind them as Ollie had the pillow with the rings on top of him. They stopped right as they walked up to Midas and just stood to the other side where Tina, Demi, and Rox were standing at, smiling to each other. The girls had light pink matching dresses on with a matching bouquet of flowers. They stood in their spots and chatted with each other for only a few seconds before hearing Love Ranger, who they hired as the 'priest,' tell everyone to stand. Everyone stood of course and turned their bodies to the huge doors at the end of the room where y/n would be walking out of.

Midas felt himself shame a bit in his spot from his nerves going through the roof. He tried his best not to turn gold any more than he already was. You've got this. She will be walking out those do- oh my god that's her, Midas thought to himself.

The huge doors opened wide and everyone's eyes were on y/n. She was absolutely gorgeous in everyone's eyes, especially Midas's. He felt himself hold back tears. He'd never even let tears well up in his eyes in front of y/n but oh boy did he shed a tear or two in front of everyone when y/n walked out those doors.

Y/N smiled and she giggled just a bit from her nerves as she walked down the aisle, her beautiful dress trailing behind her. Her face flowed from happiness and just her pure beauty. She looked down for a second to admire the rose petals on the ground, then looked back up quickly. She looked at Midas and giggled just a little more and smiled a little wider.

She stood in front of him now and she let out a small chuckle as she saw the tear mark down Midas's face, mentally thanking any god out there that got her this lucky. Midas smiled at her, he couldn't help himself.

Love Ranger held the rings and handed them to Midas and y/n. After saying a few things, he cleared his throat and looked at y/n.

"Do you, Y/N, take Midas to be your lawfully wedded husband?" He asked.

Y/N nodded happily and smiled, "I do." She said and slid Midas's wedding band on his finger.

"Do you, Midas, take y/n to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do," Midas said and happily slid y/n's ring on her finger.

The two of them smiled at each other, holding hands now.

"You May kiss your bride." Love Ranger said before stepping back.

Midas grabbed y/n's waist and gently pulled her closer, kissing her quite deeply. Of course, y/n kissed him back with as much passion. The two didn't want to pull away but they did after a second. They smiled and leaned their foreheads against each other's, staring into one another's eyes.

"Oh god, I love you." Midas said.

"I love you too." Y/N said happily before hearing everyone cheer.

"Congratulations, guys." Love Ranger said before walking off.

Midas linked his arm with y/n's and the two walked down the aisle together as everyone cheered for them. Then Meowscles, Peely, and the girls all followed them.

They walked into the room right outside and they all looked at each other happily.

"You guys look so happy! I'm so happy for you guys, congrats!" Rox said as she and the other girls walked up to them.

"Thank you." Y/N said before she looked up at Midas who was looking behind his shoulder.

"Meowscles is crying!" Midas said and smiled.

"I am not!" Meowscles said and he wipes his eyes. "I got some fur in my eyes is all." He said and wiped his eyes.

"Awe!" Everyone said and laughed.

Y/N smiled to herself and leaned on Midas, looking at him. "Hey. I love you, my husband." She said and giggled.

Midas hummed and looked down, "and I love you my wife." He said and laughed a little before the two just kissed.

"Time for cake and dancing!" Peely said, only slightly ruining the moment.
