We arrived at the school a half hour before the door opened. So we chilled on the bleachers until it was 7:00 am. It was amazing how many students were there.

"Wow!", I said to myself as I put my headphones in my backpack.

There were teachers holding up signs. I went to the one that said freshmen. There were so many students. I estimated about 70 or 80 of them.

I bumped into a pale sand cat in a Batman© sweater.

"Sorry", I said to her.

"It's fine.", she replied.

"I'm Sandslash", I said.

"I'm Sarah. Let's get to walking.", said Sarah.

And so began the first day of the new school year.

Sarah's POV

After bumping into that boy, Sandslash, I talked with him a lot. He said he just transferred but I think he could be fibbing. But I don't know. I liked him. He was cute. But none of my friends knew that. I introduced him to my friends.

"Hey girls!", I said loudly as I approached the table with my tray. "We have a new person joining our table.

"Who is it? I'm very curious!", said Michelle.(Sonic's daughter)

"Its a new kid....", I said clearly.

"Come on!", said Ivy.

"Fine. His name is Sandslash.", I said.

"Ooh! A boy!", said Ivy in a way that made me angry at her.

"Let's eat.", I said not even looking at Ivy.

Sandslash's POV

I had a good lunch. Corndogs. So good. But Sarah wasn't acting normal. I think it was Ivy that ticked her off. I don't like Ivy. I sat next to Wild while Ivy smirked at Sarah. Ivy was talking with Wild and soon they said they were friends. The rest of the day went by like a gust of wind.
