Historia the Echidna- Chapter 12

I headed to the public library the next day. I had the picture of Mephiles fresh in my mind. As I entered I saw a partially robotosized echidna in a robe with a staff and a cat at her feet. Hi, I assumed you would be here. She handed me the book of secrets of mobius. I checked it out and she stopped me by pulling my shoulder.

"Sandslash, I am Historia the Echidna. I have to give you something that you need desperately.  Follow me!", she said just above a whisper.

I followed her to an elevator. We both stepped in and I felt a wave of sickness as we descended 10 floors in 2 seconds. We were deep underground, very deep. We were in the elevator for 2 minutes. I followed her to a room glowing with golden glyphs. As I entered I saw a object. It looked like a scythe. But it had two sides and one was green, silver, and blue and the other a silver, orange, and deep red. I stood in awe at the glorious weapon.

"Don't just gawk at it! Take it it is yours. Use your telekinesis to conceal it and make it invisible. I have one more thing for you. If you are going to destroy Mephiles, you need your own Chaos Emerald," she said with a smirk. "And a black diamond to trap three enemies. You are the Superior."

As she finished, she pulled out a black, translucent diamond with glyphs engraved on the face. A moment later she convulsed the top of her staff and it opened up like a lily in spring bloom. As it opened a light blue glow spread out. And there it was. The sixth and light blue chaos emerald. I grabbed it as she handed it to me. Then the dark blue chaos emerald replaced the old emerald. I gasped. She is powerful! Then I was standing in my dorm.

"How? Who is the Superior?", I muttered to myself.
