BNHA Gamer AU

gamertags

-kirishima eijiro: krimmsriot (hardcore pvp)

-bakugou katsuki: explodohero (also hardcore pvp)

-sero hanta: taperman or scotchman or cellofanman (any crackhead games, plays pvp)

-kaminari denki: capncrackichu (was denkichu but thought it was too childish so changed it around 12-13) (also any crackhead games, plays pvp)

-ashido mina: alienchan (will play anything once, plays pvp)

-ojiro mashirao: tailswing (will play anything except crackhead games, plays pvp)

-mineta minoru: purpjuicebox (plays dating simulator, sometimes plays pvp when prompted by kaminari)

-hagakure tooru: janecenaa (name used to be something else but changed it around 12-13 because she thought it would be funnier) (plays single player non pvp, sometimes plays pvp when prompted by ashido or jiro)

-koda koji: windwhisper (whisper of the wind) (plays soft story games, not into pvp)

-aoyama yuuga: twinklytwinklestar (plays rpg games, also not into pvp)

-jiro kyoka: musicallyheard (mostly plays games that have something to do with music, plays pvp)

-sato rikido: sugarman (a name from when author was young) (plays cooking games and story games, also not into pvp) (i totes forgot that's his hero name so i'm just gonna say he got his hero name from his gamer tag)

-uraraka ochako: noground (console was a handmedown from some of her relatives who outgrew gaming) (console is in good condition though) (also plays story games, not always soft, sometimes plays pvp when prompted by ashido or jiro) (or unexpected hardcore pvp)

-tokoyami fumikage: deceitfuldeath or piercetheshadow (used to be something else until around 12, he changed it and dark shadow helped make his current name) (plays horror games, will play pvp)

-yaoyorozu momo: momorozu (plain) (has tried gaming, didn't like it)

-shoji mezo: octoarms or octoman or cephaloman (plays a wide variety because curious, plays pvp)

-asui tsuyu: that kero (here comes that fellow) or frouge (unexpected hardcore pvp)

-iida tenya: fastasme (tensei helped choose the name) (used to play with tensei, plays occasionally when midoriya asks, not much pvp)

-midoriya izuku: heroiam or iamheer or eyeyamheer (plays wholesome games, plays pvp)

-todoroki shouto: shodorokey (also plain) (natsuo made an account for him even though he doesn't game and has never tried) (has watched midoriya play though)

-mc: kikyosan (loved inuyasha) (plays any and all kinds of games ranging from soft story to gory horror to brutal pvp to crackhead simulator) (more on the pvp side to hang out with her friends) (but mainly keeps a good balance for her viewers (see alternate story))

quirk: transfiguration

hero name: metamora (short for metamorphosis, a synonym for transfiguration)

can transform into whatever she can think up in her head, only works if it's a human image. also capable of morphing only parts of her body at will. can morph into an exact copy of someone, as long as she has touched them beforehand. can also morph her clothing (mainly pertains to her hero costume). her body produces extra heat from her muscles being morphed around. to make up for her quirk's lack of combat skill, she is highly trained in hand to hand combat. has been training from about a year after her quirk manifested when she took martial arts classes and then had some heroes who were good friends with her parents train her. once she is morphed, her quirk is not needed for her to stay in that form. her quirk is only used to morph, not to maintain. if she hasn't changed back to her original form by the time she sleeps, she will change back in her sleep.

drawback:

can transform about 5 times a day, but it puts a strain on her muscles from being moved and morphed around too much. they start to tear apart when she gets closer to her limit and it can cause liaisions on her skin from the inside due to the muscles moving, morphing and tearing because the skin can't keep up. can also overheat if she uses it too many times in succession.

hero costume:

mainly just a big muscle compression outfit. it's all black and skintight (obviously) and it comes up around her neck like a turtleneck. long sleeves (duh). the fabric it is made out of allows it to morph with her into whatever clothing she sees in her mind (kind of like toga) (it is a special made fabric that has her dna incorporated into it so it can morph, her skin will send signals through it kind of like how the brain sends signals to organs). the fabric is also very breathable for sunny, hot days but when it's cold out, it's not much of a problem, the heat from her body produced by her morphing muscles make sure she doesn't get too cold while fighting. her shoes are just black and stretchy that comes up to the bottom of her legs, needless to say, it's flush against her skin (for muscle compression), with white rubbery soles that nothing can pierce through. can morph to her body whenever she uses her quirk (made out of the same material as her suit). has a sleek bob with long bangs parted to the side (think spy movie with badass female lead). 

this quirk took me a long time to come up with especially with all of the little details. if you decide you want to use this, please message me and ask and give proper credentials.

story:

is ojiro's friend, they met in game. random squads fill. meets the squad by playing with ojiro and kaminari is playing with him. then plays with kaminari and he slowly introduces the squad to her by whoever joins the squad/party/lobby. a lot of times when everyone can't get into the same lobby, they use the console's party chat instead of game chat. goes to shiketsu.

alternate story:

is a famous streamer/youtuber but no one knows what she really looks like. morphs into her persona for the duration of her streaming and videos. they (the viewers) think that's her real face. keeps it a secret. plays with bakusquad. they met in random squads fill but didn't meet all of them at the same time, she keeps playing with them because she thinks they're cool. eventually meets all of them and they often use the console's party chat instead of game chat since everyone can't be in the same lobby. she doesn't know who they are either (hasn't really given it much thought even though their names are pretty obvious). has to hide her gaming/recording equipment at all times and her youtube play buttons which makes her sad because those are huge milestones and she's proud of them. not a social person outside of gaming. is at the top of the class academically. super smart and quiet and is also at the top of the class when it comes to hero training as well due to her years of extensive training. is editing a video one day when someone barges into her room and she has to slam her laptop shut and hurriedly open a nearby book to pretend that she's studying/reading. after that she always makes sure to lock her door when recording/editing. has also soundproofed her room. people just think she's into heavy metal or something like that (that's what she told them when they asked about it during the dorm room tour) so they don't question it. bakusquad watches her videos, they knows she's famous, gets excited when they see their gamertags in one of her videos and they start talking about it in class, excluding bakugou, and she finds out that that's who she's been playing with this whole time. she doesn't tell them. one day, one of them credit cards her door (a very weird/creepy trait) (kaminari or ashido) while she is recording/editing and finds out that she is the famous streamer/youtuber. swears them into secrecy but it eventually gets out. has a background canvas so people can't easily recognise her room from the videos/streams.
