Blair, as well as her other friends, were of course aware of all the spirits inside the manor, and the fact that their floor had the most recorded activity in there. But, what they were about to expect may not be exactly what it seems. Most, if not every time, it seemed that when her new group of friends went on an exploration in search for the paranormal, they often came back empty handed. They seemed like amateaurs, like they were only doing it to be seen by Blair. At the start of it all, they seemed pretty clueless as to what she was talking about, so they must have really tried with their research since she wasn't as familliar with this place than they were.
But that could also be because of her paranoid twin sister. She was definitely not one for the scary things like these. If anything, the whole purpose is to see it for yourself, that satisfaction knowing that you can tell a story from your own words, because you saw it. And when they get live footage with the camcorders they set up, as well as the other recorders, it'll be even better.
They had the room plans set up, since there were four elders, there was one each in 66A and 66C, but two in 67D beause the youngest ones were in that room, and it was the closest to the reception. Blair was of course with Mabel, the elder that they had was called Isaac, he was turning 17 in two days, so he came along to have a fun birthday. It was clear to her that her best friend seemed to like him, she was already 15 so it didn't seem that bad for her to have a crush, but she kept on denying it even when it was so obvious.
After all the other kids got comfortable in their sleeping quarters, they all went out to a haunted house tour, the manor they stayed in didn't provide any, unfortunately for them. Blair got her camera and recorder at the ready, but didn't dress too fancy. They had nicer weather than where she lived, but her theme for today was a little darker to match with their outing. She wore a dark green off the shoulder plaid shirt, a black skirt, statment belt with chains, and a pair of combat boots. She paired the outift with silver flame earrings, and layered some chained necklaces. (baha basically an egirl)
The younger kids went to the tour at around 5pm, whereas the rest of them went to the 7pm one, that way the ther kids can call their parents to tell them how it's going. There was a beach nearby, and Mabel thought it would be a great time for her and Isaac to "bond", whatever that meant. Blair didn't care too much about that lovey dovey stuff, it was annoying and got in the way of things. Once they were at the beach they kicked off their shoes and played in the water for a bit before getting ice creams and going to the 7pm tour.
When they got the tickets, it was finally time to go. This house was a mansion built in the 1800's, luckily she knew more about this one. 39 dead bodies were found in here, after they all committed suicide, their cult leader had died and the leader's husband said that it'd be best if their followed her way. (I got this off a podcast lmao). It was said that two women could be seen cleaning away the bodies, they took it in turns of 15 to do it and those two volunteered to help clean the mess. So all the bodies were cleaned apart from theirs. However, Blair was expecting to see more than just the two, she wanted to see the leader.
As they walked through each room, she was getting deeper and deeper into her thoughts, she had to stop for a bit and pay attention to the tour guide every once in a while. One of the rooms was blocked off, but she could see what looked like smoke comign from there, you know, from someone taking a puff of their cigarette. She kept on staring at the mist until she heard footsteps coming from that room, they sounded pretty light for it to be a man. Using her phone torch to help see clearly, there was a heavy force leaning right on her, so much that it made her fall.
She must be seeing things, because from her research, no one had seen anything like it. More spirits, she assumed, were coming towards her, but she had nowhere else to run to. And these so called spirits weren't letting her go past them, as normal ones should. It wasn't long until one of the elders realised that she was gone from the group and started to call for Blair. She tried to scream as loud as she could, but all she could hear was her muffled screeching that was being blocked by someone's fist, which she couldn't see. Tears started to stream down her face and onto the floo,r burning the ground beneath her. She fell down the floors, her voice still being unable to hear from the invisible clenched fist.
Ending here because it's late and cliffhangers lol
