(could have spelling errors oops)

She could smell the burning flames as they crept closer to her soul. Trying to move from the pile of debris she was under, Blair attempted to call out for her group, but the words couldn't form on the tip of her tongue. It was as if she was in a time freeze but the tragic scene was still resumed, even the natural causes were trying to take advantage of her. Shocks of pain crashed into her lungs whilst she tried to get up, despite the amount of dust and smoke entering her insides.

The glass panes could be heard bursting into tiny fragments all across the mansion from the pressure. They were digging into each and every little corner of her dry skin, weakening her by the second. She felt as if each part of her heart was falling off with her peeling skin as it came into contact with the burning sensation of the fire. It didn't seem to mentally impact her, the feeling was tingly but nothing more. She could hear someone shouting out for her name, sounded like it was coming from outside perhaps. Peeking over to try and inspect who was attempting to grasp her attention (fancy words hehe), she felt a strong force pushing her from side to side, and it was clinging really tightly to her arm.

"Blair, It's Sunday, time for Church!" Oh god, it was just another dream. That one really shook her. It felt too real, like it came out of a movie. It would make a good one, she thought. Sighing heavily, she heaved herself out of bed, waited for her father to leave the room, and proceeded to get dressed for their weekly trip to the Church.

How she hated church so much, what was the point? You sat there for a couple hours, singing hymns and praising the so-called lord, she wanted to believe nothing of the sort. It completely clashed with whatever she likes and her interests, but her family were so engrossed in worshipping this thing they haven't even seen in real life, how are they to know that this is a hoax or not? And if it was all fake, they must have been pretty darn stupid to believe it for so long. (please don't get offended by any of this, I personally do believe in god, so I completely disagree with everything I have written lmao).

Her family despised her decisions about her hate for god, they thought it was the only way to live (idk bro), her twin especially. She would constantly pray for Blair to stop doing "such devilish acts", but she disagreed. It wasn't like she was committing any satanic rituals, it was just for information and excitement, plus a little gore couldn't hurt anybody. She was aware that things like this would be deemed as "explicit content" for some, so she knew not to force it upon others, but otherwise, she was willing to get anyone to like the same things as her.

Pushing her thoughts aside, she chose her outfit. It was a must that they had to wear dresses when attending a "formal event", as her parents liked to call it. Thankfully, her mother was respectful about the fact that the wind could pick up a bit harsher than expected, so she had a perfect array of playsuits to choose from. She wore nude pink, which was bunched up at the waist with a bow and had a cream floral pattern. the ruffles of the clothing were long enough to almost reach the end of her thigh. She paired it with flat soled shoes and a rosy pink tinted pair of sunglasses. She undid the braids in her hair and left it out, and did a minimal makeup routine.

After what felt like years of sitting in one space, the family went to a nearby park to have lunch. Blair put the picnic blanket on the grass and the plates with their cutlery on top whilst Clarice and her mother brought the picnic basket and drinks. She had a chilli taco, pretzel bites and watermelon juice. After cleaning up, she had her desert whilst reading a book in the shade underneath a leafy tree.

This chapter is a pretty chill one, sorry for the unexpected two week hiatus lmao. I'm going to upload this one every Tuesday so that I can try to make them longer but also have more time to do my other story, which is going to be up for this Friday.
