I told Nuria to stop cutting, she knows I hate it. This is exactly why! Here she is now, in the hospital because she didn't. Just. Listen to me!! I mentally prepare the long, long lecture I would give Nuria as soon as I saw her.

While in the middle of worrying about Nuria, I snap my head toward the sound of a screeching car. I was going through an intersection while the light was green as I remember, then this person sped through a red light. Time seems to slow as their car smashes with my side of the car and glass goes everywhere. Pain shoots up from my legs, abdomen, everywhere. My vision starts to darken at the edges and I feel my conscience drifting away. Before I'm able to pass out, I pull out my phone and hit emergency. The last thing I think of is hoping I hit the right button and 911 would be called before my conscience leaves me and I pass out.
