George's POV-

"-arth to George..!"

I jumped slightly at the noise and then looked at Kendall, who was looking at me while frowning slightly.

"You okay? You were like a million miles away.."  she asked, looking at me with concern in her brown eyes.

Her and I were currently on our way to the park, picnic basket in hand. We had decided earlier that we were going to a nearby park, and it was only about 10 minutes from my apartment.

"Y-yeah. I'm okay Kendall. It's just hard seeing all these couples out here.." I mumbled as yet again, another mated pair walked past us on the narrow sidewalk.

"Try not to think about it George. I know it's hard but you need to keep your mind off of it." Kendall said, understanding what I was feeling.

"I-I'm trying.." I said softly, looking down at my feet as we walked to avoid seeing all the happy couples.

"I know sweetie." Kendall said sweetly, wrapping her arm around my shoulder to give me a quick squeeze.

I shook my head, clearing my thoughts. Soon enough, we arrived at the park and chose a shaded spot under a large oak tree.

We laid out the blanket we brought and then sat down on it.

Kendall's stomach grumbled, "I'm starving! What'd ya pack George?"

I giggled, "Other than the sandwiches you made, I brought some strawberries and apples. Oh! And some of that canned iced tea you like."

Kendall nodded and opened the basket, taking out an apple and biting a large chunk out of it.

After she finished chewing she sighed, "It's nice to just sometimes go out and do these type of things. It takes you away for a few moments. Let's you finally be able to have some breathing room."

I hummed, agreeing with her. As I reached into the basket for iced tea, I observed the park around us. The park had a few families with kids running around playing, people on dates, and some food stands.

Before I could think anything more about the couples around me, Kendall nudged me and giggled, "You look super cute in that outfit I picked for you!"

I blushed and looked down at myself. I was wearing a 'only slightly' baggy shirt that had pretty blue waves on the front, jean shorts, and some white converse on.

"Yeah, I guess you did a good job." I said, agreeing with her.

"You guess?! You look absolutely fabulous!"

I blushed and playfully slapped her shoulder, "Oh hush!"

"But you're so cute!!" Kendall exclaimed, drawing a few stares from the people around us.

I pouted and blushed more, "T-thanks.."

I sighed and leaned the back of my head on the tree, "Thanks for everything Kendall, I really appreciate it."

"Of course, anything for my best friend!"

I smiled and then noticed that a cotton candy stand had just opened.

"Hey Kenda-"

"Last one there is a rotten egg!"

Then we both raced to the cotton candy stand.

Clay's POV-

Should I book a hotel? For how long? Should I pack these many clothes? Or less? I don't know how long I'll be in London..

I quickly booked a fairly nice hotel for a few days, deciding to only book more days if George was willing to see me.

Now for the clothes situation..

I sighed and decided to go with packing more, because it's better to be safe than sorry. I had no idea what a pound was worth, and I didn't want to get ripped off.

I was currently packing my luggage and carry-on bag, as I was leaving to board the plane in about..

"I only have an hour left?!" I shouted once I looked at my clock.

Fuckfuckfuckfu- I started to panic but then calmed back down. Panicking wouldn't help me in this situation.

I still had 2 more bags to pack before I could leave, and I'd be cutting it real close. This is what I get for booking a flight the next day.

I practically flung clothes and the like into my suitcase. As well as other essentials, such as toiletries. I ran to my bathroom and grabbed my favorite cologne and threw that into the bag too.

"Shit, I need shoes!" I exclaimed and turned towards my closet.

I quickly flung multiple shoes in as well. I didn't know if they were matching pairs, nor did I care. I could deal with them once I was in London. All I knew was that I needed to board that flight.

I needed to see him. No matter what.

There was no missing this flight.

I shoved everything into the luggage and then tried to zip it. Of course, it didn't budge with everything I had inside the bag. Oh come on!

I scowled and then huffed, "You've got to be joking." I quickly sat on top of the suitcase and then tried to zip it again.

I was on my fourth try when it finally zipped all the way up. I let out a breath of relief, "Finally!"

I got up and looked down at myself. I was still in joggers from last night.

"Now to get dressed."

I didn't particularly care about what I looked like, since I was just going to the airport. Once I arrived at my hotel, I would shower and then change to go visit George.

I went into my closet and looked around for a few seconds before deciding on what to wear.

I grabbed a white v-neck and some black jean pants, along with my favorite white adidas running shoes.

After I quickly got dressed, I put on my silver watch and grabbed my luggage, carrying it down the hallway to my car.

Thirty minutes later, my car was full of my luggage, and I was on my way to the airport.

On the way, there weren't that many red lights fortunately. I guess the gods are on my side today after all, I thought as I parked my car at the 'pay by day' parking lot.

After processing my luggage and getting through TSA, it was only a few minutes before they announced my flight

'Flight 38A Florida to London, now boarding'

I quickly showed my ticket to the attendant and then boarded the fairly large plane. I

It took awhile for everyone to be seated, because apparently everyone in Florida had decided to go to London. Ugh. Every second that was being wasted, I could've been a little bit closer to George.

Eventually, the pilot started speaking on the old intercom.

'Flight 38A now preparing to take off. This will be a 10 hour flight, so make sure you have everything you need now. Internet is provided and we ask you wear headphones, as courtesy to other passengers. Enjoy your flight.'

I sighed and looked out the window as the plane began to move towards takeoff. I glanced at my phone, half expecting a notification from discord, but all that greeted me what a blank screen.

This was going to be a long flight.
