George's POV-
"H-how are you here?!?" I said slightly out of breath while looking up at Dream.
He was even more handsome in person.
I had never seen Dream's full body, but man was I not disappointed.
He hadn't lied about his height, he was at least 6' if not more. My eyes were level with his neck, an unmarked neck that is. I gulped and fidgeted nervously in my spot.
He was pretty big, and I don't mean fat. He had broad shoulders and toned arms with what I could see through his hoodie. He probably played football in high school.
His face was the best part of all. His webcam did him absolutely no justice at all.
He had light blonde hair that had a slight wave to it, coming to rest just beneath his ears. His green eyes were bright, albeit filled with sorrow.
His nose was straight, not a flaw in sight, and my favorite part of all, he had full, plump lips that I felt the urge to feel with my own.
Damn it, why is he here?
He cleared his throat and made eye contact with me, "Well.. I wanted to apologize for being a complete dick." He revealed some beautiful flowers he had brought with him from behind his back, "I'm so sorry George, please let me make it up to you." He said softly.
I looked at the flowers in his hands and blushed, Doesn't he know what he's doing? This will only make it harder to let him go.
I smiled slightly and then took the flowers from his hands, "Thank you Clay, I accept your apology."
I turned around and went back into my living room, leaving the door open for him to follow me, "Make yourself at home. I'll be back in a few seconds."
When I entered the kitchen, I quickly grabbed a glass vase, filling it with water and some plant food. As I was putting the flowers inside the vase, I heard Clay close the front door and walk into my living room.
"Would you like anything to drink, Clay?"
I asked politely as I returned to the living room. Clay had found a seat on my grey leather couch and nervously fidgeted with his hands.
Clay chuckled slightly and smiled a little, looking at me and then away quickly.
"What's so funny?" I scowled and crossed my arms over my chest.
"Nothing, it's just you've never called me Clay before, so it's weird coming out of your mouth."
I smiled weakly and understood what he was trying to do. Lighten the awkward mood.
"Yeah, it is a bit weird saying it, but I want to be on a first name basis when in person."
Clay smiled and nodded, looking down at his hands.
It was silent for a few moments before Clay spoke up,
"George.. Can we be friends again? I miss you."
He looked at me with a longing in his gaze. I noticed he had a habit of biting his lip when he was nervous too. Just like me.
"I'm not sure Clay. I'd love to but I don't know if we can since you know how I feel.."
"C-can we atleast try?" Clay said, stuttering slightly.
That's odd, he's always so confident, and now he's not?
Clay looked desperate at this point, like his last meal was being taken away from him.
"We.. can try.." I agreed slowly.
