Adrian smiled, glancing at her every few seconds. Once they arrived at the library, he started digging around in his pockets for his card.

Grell blushed every time Adrian glanced at her. She was beyond happy, she never even had a friend let alone someone that cared for her beyond that. That was all she had ever wanted and now that she had it she felt complete once they got to the library her attention was brought out of her thoughts as undertaker began to dig through his pockets " what are you looking for?" She asked out of curiosity

Adrian looked up at her, giving a small chuckle. "Library card. If I even have it still" he continued to look through his pockets, eventually pulling out a clearly distressed card, it looked extremely old.

She giggled lightly at the shape he had kept his card in " next time you need a book just ask me to check it out" she said as she shook her head He gave a dry laugh, kissing her cheek as they headed in.

He looked around, his attention brought to the very noticeable statue of him in one of the hallways. He gave an awkward sigh. "I forget how much of a name I've made for myself sometimes"

She blushed at the kiss to her cheek before looking at the statue herself " I quit like that statue it means I can see you every day even if I think you might be busy"

Adrian gave a smile, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. "That's sweet of you." He glanced over at her, then went over to the counter to turn in his books.

To say the reaper behind the counter was shocked to see him was an understatement She followed happily behind Adrian as he went over to the counter she stayed quiet as he went to return his books

Adrian passed the librarian his extremely beat up card, awkwardly laughing. "It's been a few hundred years."The librarian took the old card after his shock had past, he put it through the scanner and took the books that undertaker had sat on his desk scanning them as well looking at the due date that popped up on his screen

" yes I suppose so..." he trailed off

Grell giggled lightly assuming the books, like the card, were quite old
Adrian gave a glance towards the librarian. "Just a few hundred." He gave a dry laugh, shifting and looking over at Grell.

She blushed looking down.

The librarian set the books off to the side " yes it seems the books are about two hundred years old but seeing as they were still returned safely you are free to go and I'll take care of the from here on," he said looking at undertaker before shifting his gaze to Grell " I would like to inform you that you have a book checked out that is due in two days and you have already renewed it three times so this time you must actually return it. I know you are a fast reader so I will not except that you are not finished with it as an excuse"

Grell sighed " I know, I'll get it turned in tomorrow morning on my way to work"

Adrian gave a sigh, looking back at the librarian. "Have any interesting cinematic records been recorded?" He gently pulled Grell closer to him, holding her hand. "I would still like to get something to read."

The librarian raised a brow at them holding hands but chose to brush it off " no I don't believe we have had anything to interest in quite a while but you might be able to find something it with the normal books if that's of any interest to you, those seems to be the only books Grell checks out" he explained

She held undertakers hand silently Adrian gave a small nod. "I'll see what I can find." He turned and started to walk off with Grell, exploring the library with her, still holding her hand. He looked over at Grell. "Are there any books you would recommend?"

She smiled as she read over the titles of the books " not that I think you would have any interest in I'd say as far as books go are taste are going to be far to different"

He gave a small nod, he started to head over to the books with cinematic records recorded in them, he started to browse. "So many records. So little interest." He skimmed over a few records, pulling out one that seemed of interest. "I wonder. Do they record a reaper's records?" He looked over at Grell.

" I would assume so though that seems quite sad to read seeing as it's some one that you know and you actually then know how much they went through as a human" she replied leaning against one of the shelf's With that thought in mind, he started skimming through the books again, he pulled out one, and flipped it open. He frowned upon reading the name. He held the book to his chest and started to head to the librarian.

Grell looked at Adrian confused as she saw him frown " what did you find?" She asked following him back to the front counter

"I'll answer that later." He slid the book across the Desk, asking to check it out. He seemed distressed, as if a horrid memory had been forced back into his head.

"Oh...okay" she said as she stood behind him with a frown his expression concerned her

The librarian scanned the book before passing it back over to undertaker with a nod Adrian quickly took the book.

He looked over at Grell and took her hand, he headed out of the library. "Shall we go to your place?" He glanced at her. She nodded walking in the direction of her house. After you got in eye sight of it you could instantly tell it was hers, it was all red with many rose bushes outside.

Adrian gave a glance. "It's beautiful." He looked over at her and gave a small smile. He still seemed distressed but he was trying not to bring Grell down.

She nodded " thank you, but are you feeling alright? You seem upset " she said with a frown as she unlocked the door

He gave a sigh. "On the topic of cinematic records, as I was saying in the library.. "he flipped open the book again. Staring at the name, it was his own.

She glanced over at the open cover and her eyes went wide " why would you want to read that?" She asked in a quiet tone as she entered her house

"I don't. I simply want to get rid of it" he stayed blankly. Though it was understandable why he would want this gone, the motives were confusing.

She nodded " I guess that makes sense. Being able to read ones life seems quite cruel" she replied closing the door behind them

Adrian sighed, nodding. "I simply don't want others to feel pity on me if they find out this is my name. I'm still only known as my registration number or simply undertaker." He let out a huff, looking over at Grell.

" ya I guess that makes sense, I'm glad I know your name though. I don't mind leaving mine there honestly I don't think anyone cares enough about me to actually read it. You're the only one that cares about me and I would like to request that you don't read it..." she trailed off as she walked over to her bookshelf picking up the book that she needed to turn in tomorrow and set it on a table near the door so she wouldn't forget it.

Adrian gave a slow nod, understanding her request to not read her record, he followed her over to the table, placing the book down with the others. He gently pulled her into a hug, giving a small smile.

She smiled returning the hug and placing her head on his chest. " so what would you like to do? I can cook something if you're hungry or we could just lay around for a bit," she said quietly

Adrian thought for a moment. "I think we should just relax.. you've been stressed today." He ran his fingers through her hair, kissing the top of her head.

She leaned into his touch " ok then I'm going to go switch out of my work clothes if you don't mind" she said before leaning up and kissing his cheek with a smile Adrian gave a nod, he kissed her and let her out of his embrace. He went over to the couch and sat down, waiting for her to change clothes.
