Grells undertaking on love.

ℭ𝔥𝔞𝔭𝔱𝔢𝔯 6

Grell woke up reaching over to we're her small bed side table usually was but it seemed it wasn't there in confusion she opened her eyes to find she was still wearing them she quickly remembered how she fell asleep and began to blush. She got up quickly so she wouldn't wake up Adrian. After getting up she checked the time finding it was eleven o'clock. She didn't get to eat before going to sleep and neither did Adrian so she started to cook for the both of them.

Adrian stayed asleep, he looked like he hadn't slept in years, so it was probably good that he stayed asleep. After a while though, he woke up to the scent of food, he groaned, shifting and sitting up.

Grell continued to cook  it didn't take her to long she made a simple dinner of chicken, homemade mashed potatoes, fresh green beans, and she made apple pie for dessert. She heard a groan as she began to set the table

Adrian slowly got up, he headed to the dining room, rubbing his eyes tiredly. He looked at Grell and the food she had made. He frowned a bit, but then greeted her, he pulled her into a gentle hug.

" well good morning darling, how did you sleep?" She asked leaning into the hug with a sigh still tired

He gave a mumble. "I slept.. fine, I haven't slept in a good while.." he held her closer. Mumbling.

" your welcome to go back to sleep again I'm sure my bed will be a bit more comfortable, or if your hungry you can eat with me and head back to bed after. After I eat I'm getting a shower but then I plan to go back to sleep" she said rubbing circles on his back

Adrian gave a nod, glancing at the food. "I'll try to eat my dear. But I haven't eaten much lately, I can't make promises though." He rests his head on her shoulder.

"You don't have to eat if your not hungry I just made extra in case you were. I'm not going to make you eat" she said  with a tired giggle

Adrian nodded. He pulled Grell closer, mumbling. "I'll try to dear." He lightly kissed her cheek.

She blushed before going over to her side of the table "ok then"

Adrian followed her, he sat down next to her, preparing a plate of food for himself.

Grell sat eating in silence she honestly thought she was more hungry then she was, Grell only seemed to eat half of her food

Adrian didn't eat much either, only eating a few bites of food. He glanced at Grell.

As she finished she looked over at Adrian " are you finished?" She asked as she stacked her silverware on top her plate

He gave a small nod, standing. "I'm sorry I haven't eaten much." He sighed.

She collected both of there dishes scraping them of and placing them in the sink " it's fine I was honestly hoping I wouldn't wake you" she giggled as she went behind him and wrapped her arms around him

Adrian smiled, he pressed his back into her chest. "Thank you though, dear. It does mean a lot knowing you would go through so much effort for me.

she sighed as she closed her eyes laying he head on top of his " it was no trouble at all I was already cooking for myself darling"

Adrian hummed as he cuddled into Grell's embrace. "Is everything alright, dear? You seem down today." He gently placed a hand on hers, holding it.

"I'm fine, just still tired " she said   In almost a whisper holding his hand

Adrian nodded, gently kissing her cheek as he held her close. "Would you like to go back to sleep dear? Or do you want to stay awake?"
She blushed lightly "I'll probably go back to sleep but I need a shower first " she said cuddled into his chest " how about you darling "
Adrian wrapped his arms around her, running his fingers through her long, red hair. "I suppose I could use a shower too. After I'll most likely need to tend to the shop." He gave a small laugh.
Okay she looked down at his clothes and giggled " just going to put that back on or would you like something of mine. I'm sure they will fit but I can't say that you'll like any of them"
Adrian thought for a moment. "I suppose it would be best to get the stench of death off these robes. What type of clothes do you have?" He looked down at her.
"Well I would give you my work clothes but I'll need those when I get up. I would guess that you're not interested in a dress, so that leaves you with either matching silk pajamas or oversized sweaters and shorts" she laughed
He gave an awkward laugh. "Well I suppose it wouldn't do any harm wearing the sweater and shorts. Are they red like everything else you wear?"
She blushed " all of my shorts yes but I might have a white sweater or two"
He nodded. "That will do then. It will be strange not wearing my coat, but it does need a wash."
" your welcome to my red coat if it would make you more comfortable I'll just stop by after work and grab it" she said with a shrug
He gave a smile. "That would be nice, dear." He kept his gaze on Grell. "I suppose we should shower now?"
" yes that'll work, so..." she trailed off " would you rather shower by yourself or... what?" She asked blushing
Adrien thought for a moment. "Whatever you're comfortable with. Either way I'll be getting clean." He shrugged a bit.
" well then I guess it would save water to shower together" she said head to her room assuming he would follow
He nodded. He followed after her. "Thank you for being so kind to me, dear."
" your nicer to me then I deserve so it's only right for me to be nice In return after entering her room she walked over to her closet pulling out clothes for the " oh and I wanted to show you what Bassy looks like, so go look at the picture frame by my bed" after getting the clothes she went the the bathroom attached to her room and began to start the shower
He nodded, walking over to the side table next to Grell's bed, he picked up the picture frame and looked at the man in it. "My. So that's what he looks like." He put the frame down before turning and heading into the bathroom with Grell.
" you have to admit he is attractive" she said after she set the water temperature and pulled out two towels setting the. On the counter
He simply shrugged. "He's okay looking. I wouldn't call him attractive." He took off his glasses, setting them down on the sink next to the towels.
