I got to the ambulance with Erin. I didn't want to leave her alone for one second. I had just got her back. I didn't want to lose her, not again. I started to remember our story, all we had been through together.
"Jay Halstead, everybody. He will be working with us from now" Hank said as he pointed his desk. He settled in his new place. He had never had his own desk. First, the army; then, undercover. He finally had his own place. "Erin Lindsay" he heard someone say, as a hand was extended for him to shake. When he looked at his new partner he was speechless. Words didn't want to come out of his mouth, but he forced them to. "Jay" he said. "I know" she replied graciously, as she walked to her desk.
"Why don't you bring that ass over to my place sometime, girl? I'll let you in" a stranger said to Erin as he grabbed his member. Jay handed Erin his badge and weapon, and he walked closer to the guy. "Oh, let it go" she said. He fighted with the guy, leaving him lying on the floor, and said "Anybody else?". Erin said to Jay "My hero. You are still not driving" as she gave him his stuff and walked to the drivers seat of the car.

"Thank you for everything" Erin said. "That's why you have back up" Jay replied. "Yeah, I guess so."

"Can I crash with you?" Jay asked. "Are you gonna try to play scrabble with me too?" Erin replied as she laughed. "I'll be the perfect gentleman, as usual." Jay answered.
