Andy's POV
A boy ran straight into the room and ran to Chiron so fast I couldn't tell who it was. As the room got darker, I realized it was Nico di Angelo. I translated snatches of what sounded like Latin.
"...Kids...Big Three...Styx..." When Nico and Chiron (the pony!!!) finished talking, I looked at Nico expectantly. "So... who wants to come with me to my cabin?"

Andy's POV
"WHAT?!" Ashley shook her head, over and over again.
"So that's who our father is." I nodded. It made sense.
"But-but we... We met dad! Remember?"
Nico looked thoughtful at this.
"Maybe you did. Hazel met her father..."
"But it could've been someone else, or the Mist!" I suggested.
"Maybe," Ashton looked a little confused as Nico thought about this.
"You are legacies? So he didn't break his oath, and it was just that..." Nico murmured the last sentence.

Flashback
"No! I refuse to let you leave again!"
"Fylia, please!" "No!" "I... I... can't...." The man's voice was barely a whisper... Ashley and Andy, both six years younger then they were now, were standing on the bed, Andy unaware what had happened, was playing with his dinosaur toys, begging Ashley to play, while she stood there, numb with sadness and pain. Their father, once a handsome young man, now a wreck as a victim of secondhand drunk driving. His heartbeats... now gone, forever...
Ashley POV
I snapped awake, breathing heavily. I could still feel the pain of him leaving. Was that memory just part of the Mist? There was something off about the picture, and it's got to be real if what Nico's told me about demigod dreams. The laughter of dad... his style of clothing... his special smile that made you feel like you could be happy for life... That couldn't be real, right? Why would the Mist cover up the fact she didn't have a father? Honestly, lots of people she knew didn't have a mom or a dad. While I thought about this, I realized something.
Tomorrow's Andy's birthday!
