Chapter 1 :A Fresh beginning

Hey readers ! This is my first fanfiction and also my first story in wattpad . It might not be very good . I am trying to improve my writing . Please forgive me ,if I have done any mistake with  certain facts and also there are certain things that i have tried to change intentionally which might not be same as the actual facts in the Harry Potter World .
I would love if you guys can give me ideas on how I can improve and present my story in a better way . Any suggestion or criticism is welcomed here . 😁
This is a simple and fun fanfiction ,dealing with teenagers ,their parents , love , relationships and excitement .

The past year has surely changed Albus and Scorpius a lot .After all the hurdles and danger thrown upon them or more like the troubles they jumped into themselves , these teens surely learnt their lesson the hard way .
Albus finally accepted that he can never detach himself from the fact that he is indeed the Slytherin son of the Potters , but yes now he looks at it positively . He knows that in the history of magic he will always be known as the son of the Boy who Lived , HARRY POTTER and he is now proud of it . It will always be hard to surpass his father's legacy still Albus is determined to make a name of his own .

His performance at Hogwarts has improved a lot since last year . Albus isn't the best at his class nonetheless he has skills, which are fair enough . But there is a subject which he loves and he is the best at and that's POTIONS . He is excellent as a Potioneer and also he dreams of becoming one professionally after Hogwarts .

Another thing he is very good at is conjuring a patronus and the disarming spell 'EXPELLIARMUS' , which also happens to be Harry's signature spell .One could say it runs in his genes . Surprisingly Albus has not only inherited his grandmother Lily's green eyes ,but also his Patronus is a doe . When Harry got to know about this at the third year of Albus's ,he was overwhelmed with tears and joy . Since last year the bond between Albus and Harry has surely healed and it has become stronger and Ginny couldn't have been more happier about that .

On the other hand Scorpius still misses his mom Astoria a lot ,but Draco never made him feel that he is alone in anyway .Draco never remarried and was happy to live with his son and the memories of his wife who he loved dearly in the Malfoy Mansion .The Malfoy mansion wasn't the same anymore .It was no longer dark and cold , instead now it's a magnificently bright mansion full of warmth and life . Scorpius liked it this way and was happy that his family was no longer being forcefully related to Voldemort or Dark arts .

As surprising it was , he turned out to be an excellent quidditch player , though in his initial years at hogwarts his flying talent didn't quite show up . He plays as the keeper for Slytherin and boy , he is quite a keeper . Not to mention as everyone knows Scorpius is a total geek . If he could , he would just marry books , his first love .One of the top students of his year , though sometimes he gets help from Albus at Potions .

There is just one disappointment in his life and that is the fact that Rose Granger Weasley on whom he has been crushing since the first year of school ,is going out with someone else and that someone else was none other than  Lewis Longbottom , son of Professor Longbottom . Lewis was always nothing but kind to Scorpius but still Scorpius green eyed him .

Hardly a year before when Scorpius somehow managed to ask out Rose ,she refused directly but a few days after she and Scorpius kissed . Even after that Rose didn't really went out with Scorpius , but still he was hopeful. Hopeful thinking that maybe she likes him too and he might be able to call her his girlfriend by the end of the year . But he was wrong and that made him very upset . One time she kisses him  and the other moment he sees her snogging Lewis and the next thing he knows that Rose and Lewis , the star couple of Hogwarts .
