The Magic you need

Chapter 2 : A big happy family

Anelize reached her destination  ,the Potter house .
It is  nothing like a grand manor but rather a comfortable and spacious place beautifully decorated by Ginny and Harry . For a house belonging to a magical family , it looks unusual , as  it is simple ,clean and minimal .
Ginny admits that she might have borrowed some of the ideas from Harry's cousin Dudley's house when Ginny went there with Harry as a newly wed couple .

The house has a big lawn in the front and at the center of it is a stoney pavement which leads straight to their front door . One could see a small green house with various plants which belongs to Lily as she is interested in  plants a lot and also happens to be the favourite student of her herbology teacher , Professor Longbottom . On the other side of the pavement there is a small quidditch pitch where hardly 4-5 people can fit in at a time ,just for the times when the Potters  wish to have some flying fun .

Anelize walked towards the door and knocked it twice . She waited for a minute and nobody answered ,then as she was about to knock again suddenly the door flew open and accidentally she hits  someone's head .

"ouch! Damn you surely can hit    " , said James as he rubbed  his forehead .

James Sirius Potter , quite a handsome lad . His black messy hair and dark hazel eyes complemented his perfectly sculpted face . His features were sharp and yet he had an  innocent face . He was quite tall compared to Anelize . He lifted his head up and his eyes smiled as he saw that Anelize was standing infront him .

"oh hey Anelize  ! you made it . Come in . We were waiting for you " , said James as he took Anelize's bag from her hand .

" Thank you , the bag is too heavy . I almost was about to fall down with it " , said Anelize    as he followed James to the living room .

Anelize couldn't stop herself from staring James . He surely has become more handsome since he left Hogwarts and before she could think much about him suddenly she felt a tight hug around her and a light  lavender fragrance . She immediately recognized, it was Ginny . Ginny hugged her tightly and kissed on her temple .

" mum , the way you are hugging An is making me very jealous " , said Albus as he gives his mother a smirk .

"Oh come off it .I love you all equally , but a bit more love for my girls Anelize and Lily "  , said Ginny teasing Albus .

" that's not fair Mum ! " , said Albus and James in unison and everyone laughed together .

Now everyone was one by one hugging and greeting Anelize .
Albus was very happy to see his best friend after a long time .
All the love and warmth made Anelize a bit emotional . She always loved how the Potters treated her as their own . She always felt like  she has two families .

Just then Harry entered the living room . He was back from his work which is always very demanding since being an Auror wasn't an easy thing .
" hey I got here at the right time  I guess .
Anelize , how are you dear ? " said Harry as he hugs Anelize .

" I am good Harry . Thank you for having me here " , said Anelize ...............................

Now everyone was busy cleaning and dusting each and every corner of the house .
James and Harry were outside setting up a huge tent for the party tommorow .
Anelize and Albus were utilising their charms for the flowers and candles  inside the tent .
Lily and Ginny on the other hand were arranging  the chairs  with their wands . 
Well Harry insisted on throwing a party at their place in honour of Teddy and Victoire's fifth year wedding  anniversary . Just a  small gathering with family and a few close friends . 
It was almost eight at the evening and finally all of them finished their tasks and went inside . Ginny then did some cooking and Albus , lily , Anelize layed down the plates , spoons and forks on the dinning table and by nine the dinner was served and everyone jumped into the food as they were too hungry .

As soon as all were well fed and   the tables were cleaned , Albus seized  Anelize's hand and took her with him to his room .

Albus was one of them who took their house pride too seriously . His room was full of bronze and emerald colours , posters of various famous potioneers and the Weird Sisters (his favourite band) , pictures of him , Anelize and Scorpius together and his family  on the wall above his study table .

" What is it ? you surely have a strong grip eh . " , said Anelize examining her wrist carefully .

Albus excitedly began , " I have a surprise . Just close your eyes will you ? "  and Anelize closed her eyes without questioning him . A few seconds later she opened them and Albus was nowhere to be seen .

" Al ? where are you ? is it a prank ? " , asked Anelize,  super annoyed .

" over here ! " , said a voice but there was no one .

But Anelize was smart enough to understand what it was .
" oh my Dumbledore ! you got the invisibility cloak ????? " , she shouted .

Albus came out of it  , " you got it right smarty ! James gave it to me . I own it now .woohoooo ."

The invisibility cloak was always an object of interest for Albus and Anelize and being able to touch it was out of the world experience for them .
They talked and teased each other and finally went to bed when Ginny came in and scolded them a bit as it was  too late.

The next morning seemed perfect with clear sky and less temerature , nothing could ever go wrong today .
It was nine at the morning and everyone at the Potter house was clean and ready to welcome Teddy and Victoire and finally the couple arrived .
Teddy and Victoire always complemented each other very well .
" HAPPY ANNIVERSARY  Ted and Vi ! " , everyone shouted with joy and hugged them all together .
The girls along with James and Albus went inside to discuss about the party this evening .

" Harry , Thank you for all of this . I am blessed to have a godfather like you " , said Teddy as he hugged Harry .

" No Ted ,you don't need to son .
The amount of things I have done for you is and will be nothing infront of the sacrifices your parents did for me . I have probably told you this a million times , still I would say it again , your mum and dad were heroes of this wizarding world . I will never forget them and they loved you more than anything else in this world." ,said an emotional Harry .
" It's not your fault Harry , it isn't " , said Teddy , he gave a warm smile at Harry and he took Harry's  hand as they walked inside .

Just a few minutes later Bill and  Fleur arrived with Dominique and Louis . The siblings rushed towards their sister and hugged her tight and so did the parents . Teddy greeted his in-laws with love and respect .

Then arrived Teddy's grandma Andromeda and she being an affectionate old lady hugged and kissed her grandson and his wife .

By twelve pm Hermione & Ron with their kids , then George  & Angelina and the kids ( Fred , Roxanne ) , then Percy and Audrey with their children Molly and Lucy , all of them arrived . Charlie couldn't come as he lived in Romania and got stuck with some important work .
The Potter house was now  full of people and this was 'family' . All of them laughed and talked , giggled and hugged each other , it was indeed a ' big  happy FAMILY .'
