I N S O M N I A { C H A N L I X }

All of the boys walked out of the restaurant, laughing together. They had bonded over sushi and random anecdotes and stories from their past. All of the guys had gotten closer, they even called the other two to see if they could come join them, which they did gladly. The guys stayed laughing in the restaurant until 9PM or 10PM. The new two separated, walking off to the car they both drove in with as the other six began to walk back to their dorms.

Felix sighed as they reached the doors of their dormitory, the huge letter B on the front barely visible from the street lights. He really didn't want the night to end, he was having so much fun with these guys that he had just met and he could finally call them friends. Felix never called himself an extrovert or anything, but something about these guys clicked with him.

They pushed past the doors to see that Soyeon was gone, most likely in bed. Chris and Felix exchanged sad glances before chuckling and moving up the stairs with the four others leading ahead of them. Chris and Felix's dorm was farthest away from the stairwell, so they said their goodnights to everyone as they dropped everyone off one by one.

"Goodnight Hyungs~! Sleep well," Jeongin said with a yawn. He closed his door and the two Aussies began walking to their dorm just five rooms down. Chris unlocked the door and they both entered, Felix speed-running over to his bed to get his night-routine things as Chris went inside of the bathroom to the left of the TV. He closed the door behind him and Felix could soon hear the shower start. He knew it would be a while, so he just got his laptop out of one of his suitcases after sorting all of his nighttime stuff out. 

Felix liked to choreograph his favorite songs, which was not a surprise. He would say it was a hobby, but he was legit majoring in dance so that'd be a blatant lie. What did come to a shock to some people was his love for art. Creating it, admiring it, buying it, whatever it was. He loved moving a pencil or a stylus on a surface and creating a completely unique thing. It helped him when he couldn't sleep to just start a new art project on his laptop or pull out an old sketchbook and draw random shit that came to his mind.

Felix quickly sat up and opened his laptop, grabbing his headphones off of his backpack that he also brought with him (for the plane ride there, but also for school). He put on some random playlist he found on Spotify that was full of TikTok songs and got to work, opening an old draft of a character he made way back in 8th grade for a future DnD game. That game was never played since he never joined a DnD campaign, but he still thought his character was cool.

He didn't even realize how much time passed before he heard the bathroom door open. Felix paused his music and got off the laptop before grabbing his small bag of shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, a toothbrush, and some random skin-care products he liked to use. He turned back around and stood up quickly, not preparing himself.

Chris walked out of the bathroom, only a white towel around his waist as he walked towards his wardrobe, about to grab clothes. That was before him and Felix locked eyes, both of their faces going red. 

'Shit, he has fucking abs shitshitshit-' Felix thought, rapidly blinking as he arose from the trance. "Sorry I-uh, I was in such a rush I forgot my clothes," Chris started before Felix grabbed a pair of shorts and boxers from his suitcases and stood up.

"No, it-it's fine. I'll just go in so you can get changed out here. Cool?" Felix suggested quickly, his normally-deep voice jumping an octave. Chris nodded and smiled, causing Felix to smile back. 'Okay, awkward situation successfully navigated with a hot guy, good job Felix,' Felix thought to himself happily as he locked the door behind him and turned the shower back on.

He did everything he had to in a good 20 minutes and walked back out into the main room,  towel around his neck, seeing Chris lying on his stomach doing something on his laptop with headphones on. He was - thankfully for Felix - wearing a random baggy T-shirt and basketball shorts.
