"Wakey wakey, Lixie," Chris whispered sweetly, contrasting greatly to Felix's rough awakening. He flung his head out of his pillow, his newly-dyed hair shooting every which way as he blinked into the darkness, the only light emanating from the TV.
Although he arose roughly, he didn't know he'd wake up from such a quiet noise. Felix assumed his sleeping meds were beginning to take less of an effect on him, but he didn't know whether that was good or bad. 'Eh, fuck it. I'm getting sleep either way sooo,' Felix thought, shaking his head slightly, not wanting to think hard within the first few minutes of being fully conscious.
"Hyunjin said he wants to do another photoshoot today BUT I know you have work and I just wanted to tell you now just in case you really wanna do it so that you won't be sad if you miss because of work-"
"Baby, it's fine," Felix chuckled out lowly, leaning up to peck Chris on the lips briefly. He turned to the bedside table and saw the clock flashing 8:49AM. "What's got you so anxious?"
Chris chuckled and scratched the back of his neck nervously. "Well, Jisung, Changbin, and I have to make and perform at least three songs by the end of the semester and I'm just kinda... anxious on how I'll do," Chris breathed out, catching Felix's interest. "I mean, I want the songs to be perfect-"
"Did you sleep last night?" Felix immediately cut off, Chris just sitting in silence after.
"I-I mean, a good 10 minutes probably," Chris said, smiling brightly, the smile never matching his tired eyes. Felix sighed and immediately stood up from the bed, walking to the kitchen counter to grab a banana before going to his wardrobe.
"How about this: YOU stay here and catch up on sleep while I go get you some breakfast," Felix compromised, changing into a long, yellow winter sweater with black skinny jeans. He didn't forget to snag a coat near the back, knowing that the temperatures were starting to drop quicker.
Chris just slowly nodded along, bluntly staring at him. "Orrr you can just do the opposite of what you're doing right now as you're doing the talking," Chris rambled on, not even recognizing his jumbled speech. Felix just giggled at his mumbling boyfriend, who was clearly trying to cling on to the last bits of energy he had.
"Honey, I love you, but even if I did, there's no way you can see anything clearly beyond a foot in front of you," Felix joked, slipping on some black converse and grabbing his wallet and phone before kissing Chris on the forehead and heading out the door.
'I'm gonna need to read some of his lyrics soon,' Felix thought to himself, walking down through the dormitory building. He noticed Soyeon wasn't in her normal spot, shrugging it off and entering the crisp Seoul air, obviously not expecting the sudden change in the climate.
'HOLY MOTHER OF AUSTRALIA WHAT THE FUCK WHY IS IT SO DAMN COLD OUT HERE- OH MY GOD THERE'S FUCKING S N O W????' Felix's eyes went extremely wide, seeing the white and watery substance thickly covering the ground and buildings. The sky was grey, too, making it seem like an absolute snowy tundra. 'Okay fuck the café I'll just let Chris sleep and party in this for a minute.'
"FELIX-HYUNG!!!" a familiar voice shouted in the distance. Felix whipped his head around at the voice, finding a coat-clad Jeongin pulling Hyunjin behind him, both holding small paper coffee cups.
"Oh hey, guys!!" Felix shouted, Jeongin pulling Felix into a small group hug between the three of them. Felix threw his arms around the soft pair, giggling into the triangle they formed. "What're you guys doing out here?"
The pair flushed, but Hyunjin still lifted their intertwined hands up. "We're on a small date right now!" Hyunjin smiled out, Jeongin giggling adorably at the statement. Felix just awwed, guessing they were together since the cross-country trip. "So? Where's your knight in shining armor?"
Felix smiled a little more, remembering his Chrissie. "Oh, Angel stayed up all night working on lyrics, so I'm making him sleep while I get us breakfast and coffee. I might get hot cocoa now, though," Felix sighed out, seeing his breath condensed in the air. Jeongin and Hyunjin awwed as well, the nickname slipping off his tongue ever so naturally.
"Oh, well, the cafe is selling hot cocoa 20% off due to the first snowfall. Go get some!" Jeongin encouraged, pushing Felix in the direction of the nearby cafe. Felix just breathed out a laugh before bidding the new couple well on their date and strolling through the monochrome atmosphere to the cafe.

Felix slowly opened up the dorm door, staying cautious of his possibly sleeping boyfriend. His ideas were confirmed when he saw Chris clutching onto the wolf plushie, slightly sprawled on top of it like a starfish. Felix melted at the sight, placing their hot cocoa and croissants on the countertop. He took his shoes off and smoothly slipped into bed next to Chris, ending up slowly replacing the carnival plushie with himself.
"Wakey wakey~," Felix whispered, kissing Chris's temple as he gently stirred.
Chris's eyes gradually opened, turning into small crescents as he quickly pulled Felix closer, snuggling up to him. "Hey, babyyy," he said, voice slightly gravelly from just waking up. It had been two hours since Felix left, spending some time hanging out with Jaemin and Minho at the cafe. They pulled each other closer, enjoying the moment for what it was. "Did you get the food and drinks?"
"Oh yeah," Felix affirmed, completely forgetting about the drinks for a moment. "I may or may not have altered the order, though."
"Oh?" Chris inquired, slowly sitting up as Felix walked the drinks and the bag with the pastries in it over to the bed. Chris made small grabby hands towards the drinks, making Felix chuckle and hand him it. He took a small sip, eyes shooting open. "Oh my god, I looove the cafe's hot cocoa- OH MY GOD WAIT DOES THAT MEAN THERE'S SNOW??" Chris jumped, actually getting onto his knees with wide eyes. Felix laughed and nodded at his enthusiasm.
Chris immediately shot off the bed, handing his drink to Felix as he threw on a longsleeved Guns 'N Roses shirt with blue jeans and a pair of Yeezys. "Let's go play in the peaceful-cocaine," Chris half-yelled way too seriously, rushing out the door with his drink. Felix rolled his eyes as he grabbed the food and his drink so he could follow.
By the time he got out, Chris was already gone from his sight. Felix slowly turned around in circles, trying to examine his surroundings to find his missing boyfriend.
As Felix turned his back once more, he felt himself get hit with a freezing cold snowball on his collarbone. He gasped, wiping it off with his hands as he zipped his coat up completely. Chris was cackling, bent over by the waist in front of Felix, having just jumped him from behind a tree.
"Oh no, this ain't over bitch," Felix said darkly, balling up snow in his small, bare hands as Chris started to run from him.
After a good twenty minutes of back and forth snowball wars, Jeongin and Hyunjin found them and joined them, turning the 1v1 snowball war into a free-for-all. Hyunjin took photos periodically, even filming him jumping Chris as he pretended to mourn a "dead" Felix.
Let's just say, Felix and Hyunjin didn't get to work that day.
