Over there! A big brown MudWing was stalking the mountain, waiting for his target. The question was, will she come? The MudWing was hiding in the best place possible, he was so well hidden not even Fatespeaker could find him. Then he heard talon scraps on the cold stone floor. The brown MudWing tensed. He heard a series of hissing noises. He smelt the smell of fire and over burnt food. This was hard to resist but he couldn't move, not if he wanted to win the game. When the noise and smell came closer, he rose up and stood tall. Then the dragon who was now facing him was Peril of the SkyWings. He jumped out of his hiding spot and pinned her down. She tried to get free but she couldn't match the MudWing's awesomeness. She tried to wiggle free but the dragonet that was around her age was to big. He leaned down to her ear and whispered, "I won!" Clay let go of Peril and she slightly growled.

"Yeah yeah, you won," Peril muttered. "I was so close though!"

"You were, but I have been training my whole life," Clay smiled. Peril thought for a moment and then a thought came to her.

"I've been killing my whole life so I also know how to doge a dragon jumping on you," Peril commented. Clay looked at her, concerned. "I just said that as a come back," Peril promised. Clay nodded his head. Then his stomach growled, Peril laughed as Clay's face became shocked.

"I'm hungry wanna come to the Prey Centre?" Clay asked. Peril rolled her eyes but she promised Turtle that she'd sit next to him at lunch today.

"Sorry, Clay, I was going to sit next to Turtle today," Peril sighed. "Are you mad?"

"No, I'm happy for you," Clay gave her one of those smiles that just made her heart burst. "I'm glad you have friends to sit next to at lunch."

"Thanks Clay," Peril smiled. She gave him a hug and raced off, leaving Clay to stare after her. Clay sighed and walked to the Prey Centre. He saw many dragons talking to each other, this gave him joy. As he walked over to the meat section he couldn't help but over hear two girls talk. The two girls talking to each other was a RainWing-NightWing and a SeaWing.

"Let's do ships," said the RainWing. "What do you think, Isla?"

"Okay, let's do it," Isla agreed. "You go first Firefly"

"Who do you ship with Moonwatcher?" asked Firefly. Isla had to think about it, it took about three minutes.

"Um, Qibli," Isla smiled.

"Same," Firefly agreed. "Who do you ship with Tsunami?"

"Is that even a question? Duh, Riptide," Isla answered. Clay chuckled as he picked up a cow and ate it. "He is my father after all and Tsunami is my mom." Clay choked on his own saliva.

"SHUSH!" Firefly shushed Isla before anyone could hear what she said. "Remember, we are to blend in, not stand out!"

"Sorry you asked," Isla shrugged. Clay was shocked, Tsunami and Riptide have a daughter! But their so young! These dragonets are like two years younger than Clay is! "Who do you think should go with Glory?" Isla teased.

"Duh, my dad," Firefly rolled her eyes. "Deathbringer, they're like the perfect couple!"

"Look whose spilling the secret now!" Isla argued. Firefly covered her mouth but it was to late, Clay already heard what those two girls were saying. "Your mom is Glory and your dad is Deathbringer."

"Who do you think should go with Peril?" asked Firefly.

"Um, Turtle," Isla said. Clay looked hurt, Clay and Peril were perfect together!

"WHAT!" Firefly exclaimed. "No! Cleril, long live Cleril!"

"Yeah, but when was the last time Clay ever went on an adventure with Peril?" Isla countered.

"U-uh, I-They-b-b-but marriage is an adventure," Firefly protested. Clay nodded his head. Wait, Marriage?

Isla shook her head, "When Clay and Peril go on adventure, come tell me." Then Isla started to walk away from Firefly.

"What about Copper?" Firefly asked.

"What about Copper?" Isla stopped walking.

"You, know, if Peril and Clay don't become partners then Copper won't exist," Firefly worried. Isla wrapped her wings around Firefly.

"Don't worry, Firefly, there is no way that your boyfriend won't exist," Isla promised. "Peril loves Clay to much. I'm just worried about his feelings toward her." Clay scoffed, of course he loves Peril. He loved her with all his heart, sure he doesn't show it. He tries to cover it by loving food more than her but in reality, he loves them the same. Maybe food a little less than Peril.

"Okay, I got to go to your mother's class," Firefly sighed.

"Can I come?" Isla jumped.

"Of course," Firefly smiled. They walked out of the Prey Centre and Clay was shocked. He was going to prove to those dragonets that he loves Peril with all his heart too.
