Chapter 27: Traveling to Atlas

Ironwood P.O.V

"Ironwood is looking at a screen showing a portal in the sky as he knew Salem was up to something, he didn't know why she would starts showing up and he was getting nervous. A beeping sound is heard as he saw his scroll going off, he slowly grabs it as he answers it.....................
Ironwood: "Yes?"
Atlas Soldier 'on scroll': "Sir, the Grimm are starting to go crazy. They're not focusing on anything until that portal showed up, they ignored civilians and our soldiers."
Ironwood: "Is there a reason why? If not, then find out something!"
Atlas Soldier 'on scroll': "That's the deal, we found out something that's going to interest you; that Dragon Faunus from Beacon Academy, he's alive!"
Ironwood: *eyes widen in shock* "What? Where was he last seen?"
Atlas Soldier 'on scroll': "He took off on the train that was heading to Argus until it was attacked by Grimm, his body wasn't found so he's alive. He was also accompanied by others, one of them confirmed to be Qrow Branwen."
Ironwood: (We might just have a chance.) "Alright. Listen, if you can get a chance, bring that Dragon Faunus to me! And everyone with him, bring them as well. Don't apprehend them, just bring them to me! If they're trying to get to Atlas or not, you do what I ordered, understand?"
Atlas Soldier 'on scroll': "Yes sir!"
Ironwood: *hangs up, rubs his chin* "Ozpin said this kid was special, and now he's alive after what happened at Beacon Academy, we have a good chance of winning this war."
Winter: "General, *he looks at her* I got word the Dragon Faunus is in Argus, my sister is one of those people with him. Is it okay if I go after them?"
Ironwood: "No, we wait until we have a chance. Don't want them to think they're being arrested, just bring them here and we'll discuss with them."
Winter: "Well, we did get word of people trying to cross the border to get into Atlas. *he looks at her* And it's confirmed to be them."
Ironwood: "Then contact them and give the order to let them through, no one stops them and don't let them get attacked!"
Winter: "Yes general."

3rd P.O.V

......................right now Yang and Blake are fighting Adam since he decided to go after Blake again, their fight gets interrupted by a sound which they saw a black and red portal as they looked confused......................
Yang: (I guess the bitch is going to be here. Y/N did it.)
Adam: "Wh-What is going on? What is that?"
(Y/N): "You wouldn't understand, what you've been doing is working for the wrong people in the first place!"
Adam: *looks at him, growls in anger* "You again! Why are going against me? The White Fang? And helping the humans, the ones who tortured us!"
(Y/N): "That was a long time ago! You always dwell in the past and there's a word that is always said, forgive and forget. But, you're not like that! You kept that vendetta for years and here you are attacking these two, my friend and my girlfriend."
Adam: "And yet you had a child with this human woman, a Dragon Faunus child with her. And I will do everything in my power to find that child."
(Y/N): "Leave our child our of this!"
.....................he rushes at him whichAdam goes to strike, but (Y/N) goes behind him to elbow him in the back which he yells in pain, Blake goes to attack which lands with a cut on the gut as he staggers back. Yang delivers non-stop punches which he yells in pain from the punches, he bleeds from his face from the punches. Adam staggers next to a water cliff next to a waterfall as he dropped his sword. He breathes hard as he yells in anger, but (Y/N) equips the crossbow and shoots him in the chest where his heart is as he groans in pain, he staggers back until he falls off the cliff hitting a rock along the way inside the lake, he looked at them as they looked at him.....................
Yang: "Are you okay (Y/N)? You were gone long."
(Y/N): "I had an encounter with Tregius, but it was the last. And he never stopped me from making *shows them the dagger* this."
Blake: *her eyes widen* "The dagger."
Yang: "That's what we need, *looks at the sky to the portal* and that portal in the sky is-"
(Y/N): "Yeah. She's on her way, and we'll be ready for her. We need to regroup with the others."
......................they arrived where a Bullhead picks them up and they see a giant Grimm looking like it's from the sea having features of a water like Grimm along with flying Grimm attack Bullheads, (Y/N) focuses his power and he does a fireball that goes at fast speed hitting it in the neck as it roars in pain. He equips his sword as it splits open with a fire glow materializing into a blade as he swings it around cutting off its head as it falls in the ocean and it's body falls in as well......................
Ruby: "When can your sword do that?!"
(Y/N): "After a long bit of training I understood this sword, it was created for me after I completed my training, basically the mode I did is like a flame sword, but materializes into an actual blade."
Jaune: "That's so cool!"
Pyrrha: "Yeah. That training paid off."
(Y/N): "We're wasting time, let's get to Atlas!"
......................they took the Bullhead to Atlas and what they didn't expect was a lot of Atlas ships surrounding the Kingdom, they landed somewhere as they walked through the city. Screaming is heard as Grimm are running through the city as people ran away, everyone equips their weapons with (Y/N) equipping his daggers as he turned to his thunder and lightning form as he flew towards them cutting the Grimm in two as he follows up with a lightning slash that cuts a group of Grimm in two, Yang fights them off with punching one of them in the head blowing it off from the shotgun round in her gauntlet along with shooting a round at a pack killing them. One is seen running towards her as it ran fast......................
Ruby: "Yang, look out!"
......................she looks and it lunges at her, but gets intercepted by cutting the Grimm in two, a green laser is seen as it kills the Grimm with the attack and they see something or someone which everyone except (Y/N) was surprised as Ruby walked up to the girl a little......................
Ruby: "Penny?"
(Y/N): "Wait, Ruby knows her? Who is she?"
Yang: "She's a strange girl who Ruby became friends with, but from what happened at least he Vytal Tournament, she's actually something else."
(Y/N): *looks at her confused* "Like what?"
Weiss: "She's an Atlas Robot."
(Y/N): *looks at her shocked* "Wha?!"
Penny: *looks at them smiling as she gasped in happiness* "Sal- *gets in running position* ut- *flies towards Ruby* -ations!"
Ruby: *gets it by her earning winced faces from everyone* "H-Hey Penny."
(Y/N): "That had to hurt."
......................running is heard with Atlas Soldiers running in as they gathered around everyone which alarmed (Y/N) as he gets in a defensive stance......................
Atlas Solider: "(Y/N) (L/N), you and your friends are going to have to come with us to Atlas Academy."
(Y/N): "And is there a reason why?"
Atlas Solider: "Ironwood wishes to speak with you."
Ruby: "Did you know about this Penny?"
Penny: "Well, I was given order to scout the city until I saw you and everyone here. And by assuming his name is (Y/N)? *she nods* And I now know it was a recon mission."
......................they arrived at the Academy as they walked to the office where Ironwood is and they walked in as Penny stood next to a desk with Weiss's big sister Winter and Ironwood standing there as he looked at them until his eyes looked at (Y/N)......................
Ironwood: "(Y/N) (L/N), it's a pleasure to meet you."
(Y/N): "Same here Ironwood."
Ironwood: "I believe you might have something involving Salem and that portal in the sky that suddenly appeared?"
(Y/N): "Apparently I took out someone that was working with her and there was the Grimm in his pocket that looked like a sphere. I talked to her and I guess pissed her off."
Ironwood: "That would explain the Grimm's behavior, but why would she decided to come out from her realm to attack? It was questionable until I remembered you, a Dragon Faunus. A species Salem brought to extinction, it looks like she wants you dead the most."
(Y/N): "Well, there's more of the reason sir. Apparently I hold the key to stop Salem."
Ironwood: *looks at him* "What?"
Qrow: "(Y/N) here isn't a normal Dragon Faunus, he is the son of the Dragon Faunus King; Infinitevus."
Ironwood: *eyes widen in surprise* "What? *walks up to him* Then you know what we need to defeat Salem? How? Did your father tell you?"
(Y/N): *shows him the dagger* "This dagger, it's something my father worked on before he died. It apparently needed my blood to complete it, it can remove Salem's immortality."
Ironwood: *takes it, unsheathes it as he looked at it with a glow seen* "This is it, what we need to finish Salem once and for all! *gives it back to him* Thank you, now we can be ready."
Winter: "What should we do?"
Ironwood: "If Salem is coming here, we need to be ready. All we need is a way to draw her out, if only Ozpin was here, he can come up with something."
Ozpin 'in Oscar's body': "I believe there is James, *he looks at him* cause whatever plan we have, we must come up with it fast like you said."
Qrow: "This is Oscar, the next Ozpin."
James: "Ozpin? Then we have a chance, all of you need to get ready for a fight. Some big movement is seen inside that portal, we need all the help we can get until she gets here."

(Y/N) P.O.V

......................(Y/N) adjusts his gauntlets to see if they're not loose and he grabs the dagger as he looks at it with a smile on his face.......................
Yang: "So, I guess this is it. We're going to defeat Salem once and for all."
(Y/N): *looks at her* "Yeah, and I see you're trying on a new outfit."
Yang: *looks at her body* "Yeah, everyone else got new outfits too. So, I went with this cause I felt like it's more of my style."
(Y/N): "You look good."
Yang: *blushes* "Oh, you charmer. Thank you. *she walks up to him* I guess we're going to fight when the time comes, right?"
(Y/N): "Yeah, we're going to need this chance. This world deserves the peace it was given without Grimm."
Yang: "Yeah, and *holds his hand as he looked at her* we can focus on being a family."
......................he smiles as she does, they kissed as the cracked moon is shinning from the window, but it was interrupted with black clouds which catches their attention looking out the window."
(Y/N): "It's almost time."
