Hawthornclaw p.o.v

My clan was calling for me.
I was just about to get some sleep in the middle of the day. Diamondstar took all the energy out of me. But that wasn't enough.
I heaved myself out of my nest and padded outside. Great starclan! I dashed over to see a limp, breathless, Falconpaw. She was always in trouble these days! I sighed and picked her up by the scruff carrying her to my den. I glanced at the gorse tunnel. Peachfur and dawnstrike had come back. They set they're fresh kill down on the pile and dashed over to firepelt who look panic stricken. He's always worried about Falconpaw.
I slowly pushed her into my nest. No sleep for me. I sigh. Falconpaw hasn't been talking to me lately. She's always with Goldenpaw. It hurt my heart to see her never coming to me for answers. She always asks Goldenpaw first. I don't like him. But that's her. I should be happy for her.
I hear flamestorm asking if some cat had seen featherpaw. My fur rises. Featherpaw! She's always missing. Berryfur was more suspicious then ever. Once gingerstep caught her on the shadowclan border at night. Shadowclan scent was all on her. She claimed a shadowclan patrol had attacked her. But there were no trace of blood or scratches on her. She was stuck in camp now.
I snapped myself back to reality. My main focus was Falconpaw right now. I needed to help her.
For my sake
I looked at her pads. Pretty messed up. There were tiny rocks and sticky birds on her pads and leg fur. I took them out. They were bleeding pretty bad. I took out some horsetail and dock. I then chew them up and put them in this thin round piece on wood with a wide dent in the middle. (Like a wooden bowl) I use a thick stick with a smooth bottom that curves up to a handle(kinda like a bat) and mix them together. I then put some of the poultice on her pads. That'll stop some bleeding and other aching. I walk away and leave to rest. As I leave the den,I spot featherpaw coming out of a bush. Her fur was ragged. No body saw her come in but me. I glared at her. She didn't seem to notice. Flamestorm dashed up to her. His eyes blazing.
"Where were you!" He demanded.
She shrugged.
"I was making dirt. What's the problem?"
I jumped in. I just couldn't help it!
"You weren't even in there!" I hissed. "You just came out of the bushes! See! There are thorns in your fur!"
Flamestorm glanced at the thorns tangled in her fur.
"Where were you?" Flamestorm asked again. His eyes flaring.
Now she was hesitating. Her ears went back. Ha! I got her now.
"I-....there was-....we-"
"We what? Who is we?"
She sighed.
"I was out hunting and ran into rogues."
She was in relief. She was lying!
Flamestorm glared at her one last time and stalked off. Featherpaw glared at me with a smug look.
"Not this time." She mewed and trotted off. My fur was now puffed out! How dare she? I ran to flamestorm.
"Don't you know she's lying." I hissed.
"Yes I know." He meowed, still walking.
"Aren't you gonna do something?"
He stopped and turned to face me
"I can't do anything."
"Yes you can!"
"No I can't. I have no proof against her. So for now, I can't do anything."
He turned around and stalked to the warriors den.
What the toxic tail!
If he won't do something I will!

Night was approaching. Dawnstrike and gingerstep was on guard. Silverpaw, cloverpaw, and swallowpaw were all starting to go to the apprentices den. Smallpaw raced past tripping cloverpaw. He glared at her while silverpaw was whispering something in his ear. Dirtpaw trotted up to smallpaw and they dissapeared into the den. Where was featherpaw? Breezfeather was talking to flamestorm. Lightningstorm and Briarbush were heading for the warriors den, tails intertwined. Peachfur tail dissapeared through the warriors den. No sign of featherpaw. I got up and sniffed the ground. Her scent led to behind the nursery. There was a small hole. Enough for her to sneak out, but not for me. I trotted out of behind the nursery and to the gorse tunnel.
"Where are you going?" Dawnstrike said.
"To collect some catmint. You can never have to much."
"Oki then. Be safe!"
I sniffed the ground. Featherpaw scent was fresh. As I followed it. I thought to my self. Could this be a part of something?
