Interviewer:

Sheila Bennett is another 15 year old who lives in this neighborhood. If the address is correct, this should be her house (knocks on the door).

 

Sheila:

(Opens the door) Hi there

 

Interviewer:

Hello. Are you Sheila Bennett?

 

Sheila:

Yeah

 

Interviewer:

Well, I'm here to give you an interview for the documentary I'm shooting

 

Sheila:

Oh yeah

 

Interviewer:

So what's it like living here in Courtwood?

 

Sheila:

It's really nice. There's a lot of good people here- well good is a stretch... There's a lot of...support in the neighborhood. You know there was one time when somebody's house got TP'd and, oh...which house was it...? It was.. It was the MacDowell's, yeah! They live right down that street. Down on Sycamore (Camera turns and zooms in down that street). Hey put the camera back on me! (Camera zooms out and turns back over to Sheila). That's better. Now continuing my story, the MacDowells' house was TP'd, and you know, there was just so much...support when that happened (show a clip of the other neighbors assisting in TPing the house, Sheila is also shown participating in TPing). It was really a wonderful moment in our community. A moment of our community being able to band together and just....do something involving....our community.

 

Interviewer:

Well that's very nice, Sheila. My next question for you is, do you personally know many people who live around here?

 

Sheila:

Oh yeah! I know Jeremy, Josh, Mark, Ben, Sam, Kyle, James, Reese, Devon, Billy, Jack, and a lot more

 

Interviewer:

Woah that's...that's a lot of...that's a lot of guys

 

Sheila:

Yeah, because of that everyone calls me the "Village Whore", but I mean c'mon, I only had unprotected, intense sexual experiences with almost every guy in the neighborhood. That doesn't make me a whore!

 

Interviewer:

Okay...next quest-

 

Sheila:

It just makes me sexually active!

 

Interviewer:

Yeah...okay let's move on-

 

Sheila:

Ugh! People are so judgemental. I just....I can't even...

 

Interviewer:

....okay I think we've got all the information we need.

 

Sheila:

Really? That's it?

 

Interviewer:

Yep

 

Sheila:

No more questions?

 

Interviewer:

Nope

 

Sheila:

Well...you and your camera man friend could at least come inside for some uh...coffee

 

Interviewer:

Um...I'm 19 and he's 20

 

Sheila:

Well yeah, but....

 

Interviewer:

Over 18 lands ya in prison, see ya

 

Camera turns to Interviewer

 

Interviewer:

(Rubs hands across his face in frustration, sits back, and sighs)

.....this is gonna be a long week...
