Chapter 8

Greylynn's POV

When Zane asks to play my stomach was in my throat. I'm so nervous I don't know any of these people, I'll be fine I guess. Everyone agreed and Zane asked the first question "hmmmm Natalie truth or dare" "oh god umm truth" "boo boring. What is going on between you and Todd" he asked "I don't know we are talking I guess" she says looking at Todd. "Y'all are boring" Zane says. It's goes on for a little then Tony's little girl-friend asked me truth or dare "dare" I said. She looks at me with a little smirk and says "I dare you to jump off the roof and into the pool" (pretend David has a pool) "no I'm way to drunk for that" "yeah she is not gonna go to the hospital on her first day here" David said "fine someone else dare her" "I dare you to kiss any one at random" zane says. " I look at him for a minute then look around I then lock eyes with Tony and he does a little smile. I smirk at his little girl-friend and walk over to him and kiss him I feel him kiss back and I here ooooo's around us I pull away and tell everyone goodnight and go inside. I don't know what came over me just then, I should have went inside a long time ago. Oh well it happened and I can't take it back. Maddie follows me inside and we go in my room. "Girl you're gonna get yourself killed did you see her face when you kissed him" she says laughing "she'll be fine she tried to kill me and I don't know why I even chose him, just something told me to" I say as I sit down on my bed "well you are definitely drunk and you need to get some sleep" " yeah I do. We should go to the beach tomorrow" I say. "That sounds fun I'll talk to David and see if he wants to go." "Okay well goodnight" "goodnight"

The next morning I get up and walk out of my room to find some Advil for this headache I have. As I walk in the living room I see Zane sprawled our on the couch lol he looks funny. I walk towards the kitchen looking through cabinets to look for Advil as I'm looking I hear "good morning" I jump and turn around to see David behind me. "Omg you scared me" "lol what you looking for" he laughs a little "Advil I got a bad headache" "oh okay it's right here" he goes to the cabinet next to me and hands it to me. "Thanks" "no problem" "did Maddie talk to you last night?" "About going to the beach? Yeah" "are you going?" I ask as I'm going to fill up a glass of water. "Yeah I told her I'll go but a lot of people are coming too" "oh okay" I say and take the pill. "Ummm what happened last night by the way" David asked "what do you mean?" I asked a little nervous "When we were playing truth or dare" "oh right Umm I don't know I felt like she hated me for some reason and was trying to kill me so my drunk mind took over and kissed him. I know I shouldn't have done that but I kinda can't reverse it." I replied shrugging my shoulders "oh lol I have never met her in my life but she seemed a little crazy" David said. "Well I'm gonna go see if Maddie is awake and get ready" I said walking away. I walked down the hallway into my room and flopped on the bed and just sat there thinking for a good minute before getting ready.

After getting ready and everything I walked into Maddie and Kenzie's room without knocking to see them already ready sitting on there beds. "Y'all ready to go?" I ask "yeah let's go" Maddie says getting up. We walk into the living room and see David and Natalie waiting for us. "We ready?" David asked "yep let's go" Maddie said getting excited. We head out the door with our stuff, into David's Tesla and on to the beach.
