Chapter 4

Maddie's POV

I woke up with a bad headache so I went downstairs to get some Advil and water as I'm but my glass in the sink I hear a scream I bolt up stairs to my room to see Kenzie staring at her phone "What the fuck?!? Are you okay?? What happened??" I started asking so many questions feeling my heart beat out of my chest almost but little did I know. "What is going on? Stop yelling!" Greylynn said as she rolled over to cover her face. "David Dobrik retweeted our video on twitter, he said 'this is some good content'" Kenzie says not looking away from her phone. Greylynn shoots up "what did you just say" "I'm gonna pass out" I say staring into space , I've had a big crush on David since him and Liza we're together. "We'll stop staring at it and reply" Greylynn says. "What do I say?" Kenzie asks. "I don't know.... give me the phone" Greylynn says taking the phone from Kenzie.

Greylynn's POV

I sat there thinking for a moment like this really happened what do we say. "I'm gonna say thank you so much I'm happy you liked it" I say as I'm typing it to retweet it. I didn't know what else to say, we are all panicking. We aren't very big on social media we have about 1.3 million subscribers on YouTube and about 900k on all our other platforms. For David to recognize us is a really big deal. When I give it back to Kenzie she says "he probably won't see that or any of our videos again" we all look down "honestly true" Maddie says. "Guys you never know what will happen but right now I think we need to spend our first weekend as our summer officially starts at the beach" I say standing up. "Ooo that sounds good right now, let's go" Maddie says standing up too. We get ready and go spend our day at the beach listening to music and soaking up the sun.

Time skip
5:00 pm

Greylynn's POV

When we get back we all take turns taking a shower then we sit in her living room scrolling through Netflix to find something to watch. While they are looking I pull out my phone when I feel it buzz. I freeze in my spot noticing that I've gained almost 2 million followers on Twitter 'is this because David retweeted our tweet?' I asked my self then I decided to tell the girls and the checked their account and they gained followers too. Then Kenzie yelps and we look at her. "Don't do this again" I say to her. "David just messaged me asking if we could collab!!!" "Stop lying, Let me see" I say grabbing the phone to
message him back.

Hey I seen a few of y'alls videos
they are really funny how would
you feel about doing a collab?

Yeah that sounds dope when would
you like to do it?

I set the phone down on the table so we all can see it when he messages us back. I know he isn't gonna answer back immediately so we begin watching the movie they chose. They chose 'After' it's actually really good. Half way through Kenzie's phone dings. We all sit up and look at it.

How does next week sound? Y'all
fly out here and y'all can meet

problem. We don't really have the
money to fly all of us out there and
stay in a hotel. 🥺

We really don't have the money to fly out there and afford a hotel we just graduated high school. I mean yeah we had jobs up until last month. We decided to quit and just stick with YouTube. We have a little bit of money but not enough.
