~ In which Daniel loses his mother to death and his father to insanity and has to live with Corbyn's family and Corbyn has one last thing to say before Daniel leaves him.
My alarm beeped like a bell inside my ears it was officially the first day of the last year of high school
I groaned and got out of bed switched off my alarm and chose an outfit.

I walked downstairs to see my family get ready for the day, my mum Keri was making breakfast, she was making pancakes perfect first day meal, my dad Jeff was reading the newspaper, my brother's Tyler and Christian had finished highschool so they were gonna head to college in a month or so, so they were going out with friends and my little sister Anna was getting ready to go with me to school cause she is 2 years younger than me.
"Good morning," I said walking into the living room. "Morning, Daniel," my mom replied from the kitchen. "Morning," my sister and brothers all said at once. "Hey dad, " I said while sitting next to my dad in the dining room. "Hey son, how are you," he replied while putting down the newspaper in his hands. "I'm great I see you are too," I said smiling, he just smiled back and returned to his newspaper.
I stood up and went to go help my mum set up the table.
We all are breakfast and my dad was gonna drop me and Anna off at school then head to work since my car was being serviced today.
When we got to school we went our separate ways and I headed to my 2 best friends Jonah and Zach.
"Hey guys," I said getting to them while opening my locker. "Hey Daniel how you been," Jonah asked. "I'm good and you guys," I said pulling out my books from my locker.
"I'm so excited for the last year of high school," Zach screeched with excitement.
"Me too but honestly I'm gonna miss this school though," I said. "Yeah," they said in unison.
"Let's go to class," I said while closing my locker, and heading to class with Zach and Jonah behind me.
And also in this school I'm considered the popular guy, not the one in movies where he's a jock and sleeps with every cheerleader. Just really popular.
I walked into class and stand in the front with everyone else and I see her, Jade, Jade Cooper the girl I've had a crush on for the past 4 years of highschool, she's staring someone who just walked in. I turn around and see Corbyn Besson, the school's popular need, I've never liked that guy he's always gotten on my nerves somehow.
I turn back to my teacher who was putting us into our different seats for the term.
"Okay, so Daniel Seavey you will be seated next to.....," My teacher said while looking around the class.
"Please, please be Jonah or Zach," I thought to myself.
"......Corbyn Besson.
"What the heck," I thought in my head.
