Chapter 2: Angels on Earth

Mijoo's POV
Ever since I was a little girl, I was trained to keep balance between the human realm. All I have ever dreamed of was to live a human life for a while. Just a couple years or so, but my father always says that it's too dangerous. I have worked hard for 13 years now, Today is my 22nd birthday.
*Knock, Knock, knock*
I turn to my bedroom door to see who it is as I put down my hair brush. It's my father.
Father: "Good Morning, Sweetie. How did you sleep?" He asks, giving me my good morning hug.
Mijoo: "I had slept well, How about you father?" I ask and he smiles.
Father: "I slept like a million angels."
Mijoo: "That's great Father."
Father: "Mijoo" he says sitting on my bed "Me and your mother have been talking and we decided that since you are now 22 and are an independent, responsible young lady, we should trust you will make the right decisions. You may take a couple of friends and go to the human realm and blend in. Must anyone cause trouble, you must help them do the right thing but never let anyone know your true identity, but most of all have fun. I have already enrolled you, your sister and your five best friends into a college named Korea National University of Arts. You all have many talents and I figured the school would suit you girls well, Your mother has packed each of you a backpack with everything that you will need in it, the only thing you will need to pack is clothes. We have bought you all phones already, they are in your bags, we already set them up and placed our own numbers in your phone so that way we can keep in contact while you're gone." He tells me and I have probably become the happiest angel in all of heaven.
Mijoo: "Thank you so much father. You won't regret this." I say and hug him tight before he leaves the room.
I quickly pack two suitcases, One with my clothing and the other with my jewelry, shoes, makeup, and my hair and skin products.
After I finished packing my bags I went out into the enchanted forest right beside our home.
I knew that I would find Yuqi there. It was her favorite place to be. She comes here everyday.
After walking for a while I found her and she was with the others this time, including my little sister Siyeon. They were playing with all the little woodland creatures, the animals really loved us.
There was a little Fox cub named Winter, we named him that because of his gorgeous white coat, there were also a few rabbits and two baby reindeers, with birds and butterflies flying around.
Only a few of the angels can speak to animals and understand them, luckily we happened to be some of those lucky angels.
Mijoo: "I have good news." I tell them as I sit next to Yuqi and ChungHa and start to play with a baby reindeer.
Jisun: "Oh yay, What is it?" She asks excitedly while making a flower crown.
Mijoo: "We are going to the human realm!" I shout happily and everyone is just as excited and happy as I am.
Siyeon: "Wait, that's against the rules though, Father would kill us."
Mijoo: "He said that it's my birthday present and we can all go."
Siyeon: "I don't know, this sounds kind of risky, ... I'm in." Siyeon says. She loves adventure and new experiences, so this is really exciting for her.
Mijoo: "Yayy, I can't wait. We are going to go to a regular college for humans and go to parties and we'll get to meet some cute boys too! This will be so fun. Oh, the only thing is that we can't let anyone find out we are angels and if anything happens we need to help out." I tell everyone and they nod.
ChungHa: "I can't wait!!"
Mijoo: "All in favor of leaving, say Angels." I shout with joy hoping that everyone is in.
Everyone except Yuqi: "Angels!"
Mijoo: "What's wrong Yuqi? Do you not want to come with us to the human realm?" I ask worried of why she didn't say Angels with everyone else.
Yuqi: "No, it's not that. Of course I want to join. It's just that I don't want to leave the animals. Especially Winter. He doesn't have any family. I can't just leave him by himself..." she says petting and hugging Winter. She treats him like her child because his family was killed by a wolf a little while after he was born and Yuqi found him in the woods crying and alone.
Mijoo: "I would never think of making you leave sweet little Winter." I say as I kneel down.
Mijoo: "Winter, what do you say, would you like to accompany us on our trip to the human realm?" I ask him while patting his little head.
Winter: "CAN I MISS YUQI?!!" Winter asks in a cute excited voice.
Yuqi: "Mijoo, would you really let us keep Winter?!" Yuqi asked, looking at me with joy in her eyes.
Mijoo: "Of course, we all love Winter."
Yuqi: "Thank you so much Mijoo, you're the best! Of course you can stay with us Winter!! I wouldn't have it any other way!" she says happily.
Mother: "Hello girls, I brought all of your bags and packed your things for you. You girls make sure to be safe, and have fun ok." She says coming out of the forest and handing us our things.
Mijoo: "Thank you Mother, I love you, please take care of yourself and Father." I say as I hug her goodbye along with Siyeon.
Mother: "I will, you girls don't worry about us. We'll be fine. Go enjoy yourselves."
Mijoo and Siyeon: "Thanks Mother."
We all took our bags and suitcases, Yuqi grabbed Winter and we went to the portal that leads to the mortal realm. Mom then opens the portal after hugging us all goodbye and we all take our leave.
When we finally got there, we had arrived at the college campus already. We were in front of the girls dormitory.
Mijoo: "We should go check in to get our dorm rooms." I say and we go to check in.
Me, Siyeon and Yuqi are sharing a room, Chaewon and Jisun are sharing a room, and Yuju and ChungHa are sharing a room.
This is gonna be so much fun!!!
We then went to our rooms and unpacked our bags and set up Winter's bed next to Yuqi's. Now we were all settled in.
*Knock, knock, knock*
I opened the door and the other girls came in.
Jisun: "what do we do now that we've settled in?" Jisun asks excited.
Mijoo: "Now, we go explore and have fun around the campus."
