"Oh my God, Scarlett what happened to him?" I hear Desiree crying to Scarlett.
"Desiree, calm down, he was hit a few times with a gun. Put him down on the bed agents." Scarlett says, forever the ice queen.
"We should get him to a hospital, he looks pretty bad." I hear a male voice say. Who the fuck is they talking about, and why can't I see them.
"Don't worry 'bout him now, worry about when he wakes up. He will not be a happy camper. Now get out!" I hear Scarlett yell to him, "Desiree, I called Sal while we were on the way over here, he is sending someone over here, go in the office and wait for him."
I hear the door slam and as it closes I hear the familiar squeak that I associate with my bedroom door. I'm in my bedroom, on my bed, but why can't open my eyes. I can't feel anything. What the fuck happened? Somebody tell me what happened. This silence is killing me! Ria, where's Ria? She can call Doc. Somebody help me! I'm getting tired again....
"Ice! Ice! Can you hear me? Wake up Ice!" I hear a voice yell. It's Doc.
Doc, I'm here. Can't you hear me! Fuck!
I feel him poking me with something. I hear him. Why won't I wake up? Shyt! Am I awake? I am at least conscious.
"Doc. What's wrong with him?" Ria asks. Ria's here, I wonder who called her.
"Right now, he's catatonic. Sort of like a semi-coma, his body and mind are functioning, he just can't wake up for some odd reason." Doc tells her.
"Is he gonna be ok?" I hear Desiree ask Doc.
"You, Bitch, shut the fuck up! This doesn’t even concern you. I don't even know who you and that cold bitch outside are, but if y'all had anything to do with this, I'm killing you both!" Ria says crying.
Don't cry Ria, I'm here. Damn it! I'm here!
"Gloria, calm down. This isn't good for you at all. I will send a private nurse over tonight and two others will rotate with her to monitor him. This means they will also be here when and if he comes to. Right now, I need you to go get some rest. You're not doing yourself or the baby any good stressing like this." Doc tells Ria.
"No, Doc. Imma stay with him until he wakes up." Ria says.
"Miss Gloria, you really should lis-" Desiree says before she cut off.
I hear a gun cock. Ria must have my gun!
"Bitch, I told you once that this has nothing to do with you. You ready to listen now! Leave us the fuck alone!" Ria yells. I can hear the tears in her voice.
"Gloria, put the gun down. She is only trying to help. It's obvious she is here for a reason. This isn't solving anything or getting him better. Please put the gun down." Doc pleads.
Ria put the gun down. Please put it down. I'm...starting to...drift off again...not now!
Shyt! They must've gotten me pretty good. I gotta keep aware and sharp. It's quiet. I wonder how long I was out. It must be late. I hope Ria put the gun down. I hear a soft knock on the door. That has to be Desiree. I hear the door open.
"Miss Gloria, wake up. Miss Gloria?" I hear her say.
"Ooh, Desiree, I'm so sorry for earlier. I was hurting real bad." I hear Ria tell Desiree.
"It's forgotten. Come on get up; let me get you to bed. The nurse is here. She will come get us if anything is wrong." Desiree assures her.
"No, Desiree, you stay with him until I get up in the morning. Promise me." Ria says, sniffling. She's been crying.
