"We're here, take out your bags."

Jun let out a heavy sigh and followed his energetic mother. He was dreading this moment for the past five hours they were on road. However, as he stepped out of the car, he was met with a surprisingly pleasant view.

Whatever he'd expected wasn't right at all. Instead of a boring cement school, a tall colourful modern building stood before Jun. Its walls were covered in beautiful graffiti drawings - nothing like the ones inside dark alleys. The windows were almost as tall and wide as the walls they were built in, probably resulting in good lighting inside the classrooms.

The whole time they walked to the receptionist, Jun didn't see a single student. They must have a busy schedule, he thought.

"Hello, you must be Wen Junhui," a kind looking middle-age woman chirped from behind a desk.

Jun bowed politely.

"Yes."

"Welcome to Pledis School of Arts," she smiled way too brightly in Jun's opinion.

"Here is your schedule. You'll find everything in there. Also, because you missed a couple months of the first semester, you'll be assigned a tutor. Don't worry, it's only temporarily," she reassured as her eyes caught Jun's worried expression.

"And here's your key to the dorm. Room 527. Go around the school and you'll see a tall dark building with many triangular rooftops. Yours is the fifth block from the left."

After the woman's detailed explanation, Jun bowed once again and took his bags out of the lobby.

"By the way, you're assigned a roommate. He also just moved here this year, hope you'll be nice to each other!"

After finally getting out of the lobby, Jun waddled towards the dorm, his mom following behind with a big suitcase.

"That's it, I'm not allowed further." Mrs. Wen stopped at the entrance, earning a tearful look from her son.

"Eh, everything will be alright. You're a strong boy, you'll manage!" She encouraged, giving him a bone crushing hug, which Jun gladly gave back.

"Just don't drink or party too much and I'll be proud," she added mischievously.

"Mom! You know I'm not into that kind of stuff.."

"Okay okay. Then just be nice and hardworking. And maybe get a boyfー  I-I mean, make some friends."

The boy shook his head laughing. It was hard to see his mom fading away in her blue car.

That reminded Jun of the Mercedes. He made a mental note to call Namjoon hyung - a guy next door who traveled a lot - and tell him he can't take care of it anymore..

Somehow, the boy managed to get to the elevator with all of his bags but no further. His strength was all gone from five hours of driving and basically having no sleep the night before. Suddenly someone spoke behind his back.

"Need some help, man?"

It was a boy about his age, aggressively chewing on something. Just as Jun was about to answer, the guy blew a big pink bubble and popped it back into his mouth.

The guy gladly helped Jun get all of his bags into the small elevator, flashing a wide grin throughout the whole time.

"Name's Hansol," the guy said as he offered a hand to Jun.

"J-Junhui.. Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too, man!"

In his opinion, Hansol was too cheerful and informal. Though Jun didn't know whether he was older than him or not, it still hurt his pride a little bit.

"Thanks for helping me, Hansol."

"No problem, man. Anytime," the other winked and disappeared into the elevator.

After several minutes of trying to find the key, Jun finally unlocked the door. He was surprised to see a rather wide room with two beds on either side. The one on the right seemed to be already occupied, as someone's clothes were messily scattered on the covers.

Jun was surprised that nobody was in the room. After all, it was a Saturday afternoon.

Although he was too tired, the boy did unpack some of the stuff. One thing that didn't go unnoticed was a big shelf filled with numerous thick books, hanging on a wall above the other bed, along with a huge collection of Polaroid pictures hanged on a golden string. Most of them portrayed city lights at night, raindrops or just a simple, yet beautiful scenery.

Whoever was his roommate, they had a taste in photography, that's for sure.

The boy sat on his bed and began examining the schedule. He noticed that all the regular lessons like maths or history were during the first part of the day and music, art and dance lessons - in the afternoon. He also noticed some dance lessons on Saturday, although they seemed to be optional - only if you're in a group or something like that.

Jun was interested in taking proper dance training but he was also extremely nervous. However, the boy was too exhausted to think of bad things. He just wanted to sleep..

Suddenly a loud crash startled him, making the boy jump out of his bed.

"What theー"

Words got stuck in his throat when Jun noticed another person in the room.

"S-Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you.."

"Who are you?" Jun asked quite rudely, annoyed at the other's sudden intrusion.

"I'm Xu Minghao.. Your roommate."
