"And five, six, seven, eight!"

Lively music blasted through the speakers, waking Jun up from his thoughts.

"Jun, you missed! From the beginning, everyone!"

Soonyoung was the type of person that changed his demeanour depending on what he was doing. And being the leader of the perfomance group he put together, sometimes brought the worst in him.

"Okay, ya'll know exactly where you messed up. Again!"

Chan rolled his eyes and groaned.

"Hyung, we're all tired as hell, it's no surprise we're messing up. Give us a break. It's been almost three hours.."

All of a sudden Soonyoung's expression changed from serious to worried.

"Oh my god, is it that late already? Sorry guys, I got carried away.."

Everyone chuckled as Soonyoung got red from embarrassement. The boy really didn't mean any harm, he was just stressed about the upcoming show.

"Don't forget, we still have to come up with an interesting choreo. Think of some ideas until tomorrow, 'kay?" Everyone nodded without any words.

"Hey hyung," Minghao called as he was drying his hair with a towel.

"What are your plans for tonight?" He asked Jun who had just finished changing.

"Umm.. not much. Why?"

Minghao smirked and closed his locker.

"We're going out," he declared.

"I knew it! Congrats!" Shouted Soonyoung from the farthest corner, earning a wholehearted laugh from Chan.

"Not like that you idiot!" Whisper-yelled Minghao as his ears reddened from embarrassment.

"Wh-Why all of a sudden?" Jun asked confused and tilted his head to the side.

But the younger kept silent.

The sky was beginning to turn into a luscious shade of crimson by the time the boys stepped out of the building. Minghao kept walking just one step in front of the older, forcing him to follow.

"Where are we going~" Jun whined for the nth time, yet the younger still didn't utter a word.

After what seemed like an hour of walking for Jun, the two entered the main street.

"Hyung, hold onto my hand," Minghao said.

Before the older could react in any way, Minghao grabbed his hand and interlocked their fingers together. Even in all those loud street noises, Jun could hear his heartbeat quickening from that one simple touch.

Soon he realized why was it important for them to hold hands. The two boys immersed into a huge crowd of people and Jun could only see Minghao's raven hair glistening in front of him. Suddenly his body was pulled swiftly as Minghao went into a dimmed alley.

"Hao, where are we going?" Jun was tired of asking the younger for directions but continued to do it anyways.

"You won't regret it, trust me," was all Minghao said before a small wooden house appeared before their eyes.
