I'm in Love with a Drag Queen (Adore Delano)

Part one: 3 months ago

Everyday is always an adventure when I'm with Danny and it's even crazier when he brings out Adore. I love our friendship and i never want it to change, but sadly it did.

My life changed that night, the night we partied after Adores show, the night I drank to much, the night that turn into a morning with no memory, the morning I realized I was in a bed naked next to a naked Adore.

3 MONTHS EARLIER

I was backstage at one of Adores shows helping Danny get ready, I don't really do much but he loves having me with him. " Elena what color lipstick should I wear the red one or the green one?" Said Danny as he transforms into Adore, "the green one, it's so different" I replied. Adore smiled and proceed to apply her lipstick.

"I'm so ready for this show! I can't wait to get out there and just party" she expresses. "Yeah you look like your having the time of your life on stage" I said. I continued watching Adore finish her make up. "Adore 5 minutes" said the stage manager, Adore nods, " Elena can you grab those shoe and pass them to me?" She asked, I quickly got off the couch and grabbed these beautiful heals and pass them to Adore. "Time to party!" She said as she finish touching up her hair, "let's go" Adore grabs my hand and we make our way to the stage.

Once at the edge of the stage I take a quick look at Adore and fix any little thing and wish her luck " thanks Babe" she said, I watch my best friend transform into this bad ass right before my eyes and for some reason I have a pit in my stomach and a very old memory resurfaces.

I was sitting in Danny's room listening to him play an original song.

As I watch him sing with such feeling something ignited in me; I looked at him slightly different and I don't know how to feel about it. " I think I love you" I whispered ,Danny stops and looks at me "what?", I snapped out of my thought "huh!" He smiles and says "I thought you said something." He said as he goes back to playing his music. I thought he heard what I said but I'm glad he didn't, well I hope he didn't. In that moment I realized I had feelings a for my best friend and that could be a problem.

As I snap back into reality I try to focus on Adores show but I had missed half of the set. "Thank you for being here tonight I love you!" Shouts Adore, "that was great, I loved it" I great my best friend "thanks" she said as she removed her ear piece, we walked back to the dressing room, collected our things and head home.
