"Hurry up or we're gonna be late to the show" I yelled at Danny from the front door of his house; " Hold on, I'm coming" he shouts. I take a look at my phone 4:45 pm the show starts at 6:00 pm, I impatiently tap my foot as I wait for my dear friend, i turn to shout ones more but Danny was right behind me " Lets go" he says and we make our way to the gig. When we arrived there was a stage manager waiting for us at the side of the venue " Adore darling you're late" she says as we are rushed to the dressing room " you have 30 minutes till show time" says the frantic woman as she speed walks out the door.

I did my best to get Adore ready in time for the show " 5 Minutes till show times" says the frantic woman " are you ready?" i question " hell yeah" shouts Adore. I truly enjoy watching Danny transform into Adore, it's like magic. " you truly are a beautiful mermaid Adore Delano" i express, Adore looks at me with a bright smile and hugs me for what seem like forever "Thank you for always being there for me"Adore says softly; we pull away from the hug "shall we?" I say while extending my arm " we shall" replies Adore linking arms with me.

The show was amazing, for the first time in a long time I was able to focus on Adore's show without getting lost in thought. when the show concluded Adore runs up "that was fucking amazing" she says out of breath, "indeed it was" I open my mouth to say something but get interrupted by the stage manager "Adore honey there is some fans who would like to meet you", my focus goes from the stage manager to Adore " go I'll get your things ready to head out" I tell Adore, " Thank you Elena" says Adore, she squeezed my arms and walked off with the stage manager. While packing Adore's makeup I glanced at myself in the mirror; i looked at my face something i don't do so often, why? I don't know "even if he wasn't..." I trailed off and looked at the make up on the desk " he wouldn't be into me" I said to myself.

"who wouldn't be into you?" says Adore abruptly, i jump and turn to face him "no one" i spat, Adore gave me a confused face as she approached me and places both hands on my shoulders

" Elena what is this about? who wouldn't be into you? wait! you like someone?" she question I try to shake it off "what is this an intervention?" I reply sheepishly; "you're a wonderful person Elena and any guy would be lucky to be with you" states Adore " unless he is gay" i whisper to myself .

" When is Alaska's party?" i ask trying to change the subject, "Tonight, your still going with me right?" I nod my head and grabbed some of Adore's things " come on lets go to Alaska's". The ride to Alaska's was silent, for the most part ,my mind kept running wild and I was trying to keep it under control, boy was I losing. "Can i ask you something" Adore breaks the silence, "Sure" I answered quickly " back at the venue I heard you say 'even if he wasn't...he wouldn't be into me' what did you mean by that?", my mind was on overload and I didn't know how to answer that think Elena think, use your words " um, well...old memories" is what i manage to say "Elena talk to me, It's me Danny" I looked at him with a questionable face " Sure at the moment I'm dress as Adore but you know what I mean; as Adore or as Danny you can still talk to me" he takes a quick look at me and back at the road.

Silence....

"So are you gonna tell me?" asked Danny, my mouth open as if some words where gonna come out but nothing, just silence; " I'm not gonna force you" he added, "Someday I'll tell you but not know." I said softly.

More silence....
