It had been two weeks since everything had happened, I was dealing with it all remarkably well. Who was I kidding, I was a total mess, but I felt like I had to put a brave face on. Inside I was clawing at my heart trying to make the pain stop. He haunted me everywhere I went, it's like everything in my apartment reminds me of him. I could still smell him on my bed covers, still had his shirt in my bathroom. Could still image him half naked in my living room. My leg had healed enough that I could move around more freely and today was the day that I got my stitches removed at the hospital. I was nervous to head back there and Jade had offered to give me a ride and stick around for support. That is what brings me to now, sitting on my couch in my quiet home. The prospect left a few days ago lockdown had ended, and I was free to do as I wish. The door to my apartment had been fixed and Tiny come over to my place to hand me my new keys.

Tiny has helped me out a lot, he's a sweet guy even if he looks intimidating as hell. Sometimes I get a random text during the day off him asking me if I'm ok, and it's nice to know someone cares about me. He had also been keeping me in the loop, telling me what I needed to know. Most information was club business, and I was not part of the club anymore, so I just got little bits here and there. But between him and Jade, I got most of the information. The rest I would fill in myself, the thugs that kidnapped me as far as I knew would not be seen around here again. As for Hammer well he was still on the lam, they could not find him anywhere. Tho they had a suspicion that he had got out of town. Everything seemed to be going back to normal, and I was happy to a point. I missed him tho, no matter how much I tried to tell myself that what has happened was for the best. I still missed him, and there was nothing wrong with that.

Knock knock.

"Em, it's Jade open up" she knocked on my door. She has an edge to her voice like she had something on her mind. Hobbling over towards the door I pulled it open. She smiled towards me but the smile did not meet her eyes. I knew something was bothering her, "what's wrong?" Putting a fake smile on her face she walks inside giving me a one armed hug. "Nothing I'm fine" she replied and I pulled back looking at her. Nodding my head I turned to grab my handbag as she grab my not needed crutches from the side of the sofa. I knew there was something bothering her, but I also knew I had to give her time. She would tell me when she was ready. By the time I managed to hobble down the steps of my apartment and make it to Jade's car we had a small drive to the hospital. It was quite the whole drive there, the only sound was the light buzz of the radio. A song come on to it and I frozen my body stiffening up. It was a break up song by Kelly Clarkson, behind these hazel eyes. It broke something inside me hearing the words. I quickly switched stations and a more happy song started to play.

Waiting in the hospital was a drag, Jade seemed to be lost in her own world. The only response I got from her was a hum when I spoke, so I just gave up. Something was really eating away at her, and if she did not tell me soon I would slap it out of her. "Miss Evens" a doctor called me forward I stood up "I won't be long." I told Jade, and she just nodded, shaking my head and hobbling forward I entered the doctors room. The whole time I was inside I was barely listening to a word she was saying. I just lifted my skirt a little and let her get on with removing my dressing and stitches. I still had a dressing on my face, I think that's what I was most worried about. How much damage had been done to my face.

It was not painful, but I kept my eyes closed and I could feel sweat forming on my forehead. "It will be ok Miss Evens there is no need to worry." Something inside me snapped "yeah sure it will be ok, says the person who does not have to walk about with a constant reminder on her face." She looked shocked at my words, but she closed her mouth and continued to remove the stitches on my face. When she was finally done and stepped away from me. That's when I had finally seen it for the first time. My face looked a mess, I had a bright pink line sliding down it. It was like a zigzag, Hammer had carved a Z into my face. I turned away from the mirror and stood up, my leg did not hurt anymore to walk on, it had been like that for a few days. It was just stiff, so as I grabbed my bag and jacket I turned around towards the doctor. "I'm sorry I should not have snapped, thank you" not giving her time to reply I left the room.

When we got to the pharmacy, Jade put her hand on my arm. To stop me from getting out of the car. Turning towards her I placed my hand over hers. I could see she was nervous, she was nibbling on her bottom lip. "Jade it's ok I'm here" I squeezed her hand to show her the truth behind my words. Then the next words that rushed out of her lips shocked me "I think I'm pregnant." My eyes widened up as I looked towards her face then down towards her stomach. The wind got knocked out of me but I quickly pulled myself together "does Tank know?" She shook her head, I could see the panic in her eyes. "Hay it's ok, I'm here. So first you said think, so have you taken a test yet?" She shook her head again and I smiled "well you should take a test to be sure, then we can go from there." I smiled towards her giving her hand a light squeeze. "You wait here, I will grab a few tests and my meds then come back" she nods again this time looking a little less tense. Removing my hand from hers I slide out of the car and make my way inside the pharmacy.

Walking down the isles I'm finally coming to the department I needed, running my fingers over each test I picked up three. Not sure how many tests would be seen as accurately needed. Then I walk over to the cool drinks and grab two bottles of water. As I'm making my way towards the pharmacy department I bump into Liam, "shit I'm, Emma" I giggle as I look up towards him "well nice to meet you Emma." He laughs along with me "what are you doing in here?" He asks me and I nod towards the pharmacy "just come to get my meds." He nods his head and as he does I notice his eyes still on my hand. Thinking nothing of it I walk my way around him "well see you around Liam." I say as I walk away from him he mumbles a reply and quickly walks away. It's not until I place my items down that I remember what I was carrying. Cursing under my breath my head shoots around as I try to look for him, but he's nowhere in sight.

I shake off the uneasy feeling inside me, as I pay for my items then leave the store. I had bigger things to worry about right now, and she was waiting for me in her car.
