ITZY WITH ICY! CONGRATULATIONS!"
one of the mc smiled and handed me the twelfth trophy we've won for ICY. i bowed and i couldn't help but to grin widely when i accepted the trophy.
"-please give your speech."
i glanced at chaeryung as she started saying her winning speech. i looked ahead and waved at all of the fans that came to support us, throwing finger hearts and mouthing 'thank you' brightly.

i laid on my bed after washing up.
today was another long day; after inkigayo we went straight to a fan signing event which lasted for at least two hours or so. after the fansign, we headed back to jyp to get briefed on next week's schedules and promotions.
and here i am, on my beloved bed at eleven pm. it was the same routine as last week, but i couldn't shake off the giddiness i had been having for the past week. i was still as tired as last week, physically, but mentally? i had been a lot better.
the reason for that was.. i really took someone's advice and took care of myself more. and another reason was that.. that someone made sure that i did.

my phone notified me of a new message, which i had expected coming.

yup, ljn for lee jeno. how did this happen, you ask? it went back to last week when i broke down in front of him and somehow ended up being friends with him. and apparently, according to him, being friends means that he should have my number because that's what friends do. and so, without having any choice i gave him my number. not gonna lie, when i received a message later that night, my heart fluttered a bit.. okay maybe not a bit, quite a lot. he was clearly not helping me in sorting out my growing adoration for him, which i shouldn't have, at least not now.
i kept telling myself not to think too hard about this whole situation and just befriended him, as he wanted to. but deep down i knew that befriending him was not as simple as i wanted it to be. you see, i'm still a fresh rookie with tons of things expected from my agency and fans. and expectations came with rules and obligations that i had to comply with. well, let's just say that one of rules was not to make any relation and interaction with idols, especially if they are of a male species. and lee jeno is a male. and an idol. that only was already two no-nos.
