After an hour or so of shock, I was sitting on the couch just thinking. I didn't know how to react or respond to what just happened. Was I afraid of her? No of course not, I'm afraid of no one because I am not weak...

Alright I'm going to go talk to her. She was in the other room in a chair facing the window. It was dark outside but you could see the stars perfectly. That's why I moved to this house, no one to bother me. I grabbed a chair and pulled it up beside her. She looked at me but I acted like I didn't notice.

"So umm what exactly was that?" I asked. She didn't appear to be in the mood to answer me so I fell silent. After a few moments she responded, "I don't know what it is I was hoping you could help me." It took me a few moments to register what she was saying to me. "how am I suppose to help you, better yet what do you need help with?" I asked confused and concerned. She looked over to me she looked scared. "I want to be a member of your group" she said. Now I was definitely confused. Why would she want to be apart of us? "May I ask why." She looked as if she was about to cry. "I need help, you are the only person I have shown this to, you people understand me." I stood up " I need a minute."

I left her in the room and I began to walk down the long hall. There were portraits of my relatives on the walls. Right next to the door I was seeking was a picture of me...I looked very unpleasant. The angriest expression on my face I don't know why, but everyone's portrait portrayed the same expression...I guess it really does run in the family.

Once I reached the door, a long spirally staircase went up. The stairs lead to the roof, I have always liked to be up high. I felt safe, more importantly I felt like I belonged here. That thought quickly vanished when I heard someone shiver behind me.

I spun around quickly to see Victoria standing there cold. I took off my jacket and covered her with it. "why did you follow me up here?" I asked. "I got scared so I followed you." "I saw your portrait in the hall." She took a step closer to me, I took a step back. "you looked very angry, but sad as well." "why is that?" I shrugged, she grabbed my hand.

"There is nothing to fear about me raven, I'm just like you."

What did she mean?

Before I knew it she was pressed against me kissing me.
