Chapter 3: A New Beginning

3rd Pov

Y/n sent in the application yesterday and has already gotten a response back. But, now how he expected.

There was a knock on his door. A large man with a Manbun and a man with slicked back hair, both around 6'7, pulled a bag over my head with chloroform. Before I passed out, I heard one say, "Sorry about this Brudda, but it's time to change your life."

Y/n Pov

I don't know how long I was out. Had to have been a day or two. I woke up in a room with all of my important stuff with it. But I don't remember taking it anywhere. Hell, I don't remember anything. It must have been those two guys.

I was about 6'6, so it made those guy an inch taller than me, but they were both strong individuals, which made them east to overpower me. I have a built build, but my lower body had my strength and weight. My hiper were wider than my torso and my thighs and calves where muscular, making it look like I had slightly puffy pants on at all times. But, it didn't bother me.

I walked out of the room I was in. It had a bedroom, kitchen, and living room. It was pretty good. Not as good as Hans' house but better than the rooms at Hammond.

When I left the apartment I'm greeted by a man with curly hair, whom I recognized as mirage from my dad. I didn't know any of the other legends, other than the demon robot,

Mirage: "Hey! You're the new guy right?  I'm Elliott, also known as mirage."

He held out his hand to shake it.

He spoke fast, making me believe he was hiding something. But, I didn't think anything of it. I shook his hand.

It went right through him. He laughed.

The real mirage turned the corner wearing a brown t shirt and blue jeans, with these weird circles around him.

He explained to me that they are what makes the holograms. He takes me to the mess hall where u meet a few more people. He introduced me to Makoa Gibraltar, who told me he was the one who kidnapped me. I didn't care, but I feel like if I did he would have knocked me out cold. I was also introduced to Anita Williams, aka Bangalore. She was nice but I wasn't too fond of her. Mirage tells me that some of the contenders aren't very social, so I might not see them for a bit.

I then remembered what I was her for.

Y/n: "Hey Elliot?"

Mirage: "Wow, a question already? Go ahead" he says playfully

Y/n: "do you know anything about revenant."

A once happy mirage went blank. Not out of fear, but he hadn't known a tick bout revenant.

Mirage: "Sorry, y/n, but I don't know much about him. What up?"

Y/n: "I was told I could get my revenge on him in the games. He's the one who killed my father."

Mirage looked at me as my eyes welled up with tears. He gave me a hug when we let get he told me something:

Mirage: "I'm not the guy for this. If you what to know more about the murder demon, you should go ask Loba. She's the new legend. She actually lives in the dorm right next to you."

I nod and start to head back to my dorm.

"Hey, y/n!"

I look back at Elliot, and he's seems happy and playful again.

"Just letting you know, he's not allowed around here. He's been banned from the area on account of some... incidents."

I smile and thank I'm for letting me know.

I look down at my platinum pocket watch, lined with onix crystals that Hans gave to me when I was young.

"Damn, 11:00 already?" I thought to myself.

I got into a tank top and grey sweats as I plop down on the bed to sleep.

-Time skip 9:30 am-

-y/n Pov-

I am awoken by a knock on my door. I get up and see it's mirage.

Mirage: "Hey y/n" he says while yawning

Mirage: "Mind if I come in?"

Y/n: "No, not at all. Coffee?"

Mirage gives a lazy nod

"What is he doing here while still half asleep?"
I thought to myself.

I give him his coffee and he's now pretty awake.

Y/n: "So... uh... what brings you here?"

He then seems to have a lightbulb moment

Mirage: "Oh yeah! I ended up talking to Loba last night, she said she would love to meet you and talk to you about the scary murder demon. I don't think you know this, but her parents were killed by that thing. She told me that she's here for you, and that you could help each other out with it."

Damn that guy talks a lot

A smile crept across my face as I felt like I could possibly be safe.

Y/n: "Did she say a time we could meet?"

Mirage: "yeah, she said 12:00 sharp. And I wouldn't keep her waiting" he leans in and whispers "she's a bit spoiled" we share a chuckle and I ask him

Y/n: " why did you do that? We're in my room."

He points to the wall and shows does a pinch shape, indicating that the walls were thin.

I completely forgot that she was my neighbor.

I also forgot to mention that there are these hotel style doors that can connect two rooms together, don't know why but they do.

I had nothing to do but wait. 2 hours and 30 minutes to wait. I click on the Tv and watch. They announced me entering the games on live Tv. I prepared for the call from Hans' wife....
