The Games: Part 2

Author's Note: YEEEE HAWWW BITCHES I'm feelin good tonight! Lets get this thing started.

Time skip: one day before the games

Ironically, waking up in the same position, on the couch

I woke up with Loba in my arms. I can't stop thinking about a week ago, on the balcony. Such a beautiful woman. Such a deadly one too. I'd hate to be on opposite teams.

I feel her move and she wakes up.

Y/n: "hey beautiful"

Loba: "Hey handsome"

Y/n: "How'd you sleep?"

Loba: "Amazing."

Y/n: "Grea-"

I was cut off by a mirage who decided not to knock.

Mirage: "Heyyoooo everybody! Oh, sorry to ruin a magical moment"

He uses a clone and gets in the same potion we were

Y/n: "you know that's still technically a guy, right? Why are you even in uniform?"

Mirage: "One: he's hot. And Two: I feel like it."

Y/n: "Fair enough"

He walked out of the room wrapping his arm around the clone playfully, and me and Loba share a giggle

Loba: "So, how are we going to get prepared for the Game?"

Y/n: "I was just about to head to the range, wanna come?"

Loba: "Sure. I wanna see what the "sharpshooter" can do."

Y/n: "you challenging me?"

I say playfully

Loba: "You know what, I think I can take you."

Y/n: "wrong choice."

I say as I chuckle

She has a sly grin on her face

-at the range-

We find ourselves at a dueling tree.

We both grab a p2020.

Y/n: "Alright, first to have all of the targets on their side wins, got it?"

Loba: "Got it."

I hit a button, "3..... 2.... 1.... GO!"

We aim our P2020s. She doesn't even get a change to pull the trigger before they're all on our side.

I laugh as I start to shoot them all back on my side, then back and forth.

She light-heartedly punches my shoulder when I'm out of ammo.

Loba: "No fair! You were the first person to shoot all of these weapons!"

Y/n: "Actually, I-"

Loba: "Shut."

She giggles and I laugh it off.

I look to the weapon wall and I see something, something that made me tear up.

It was the sentinel.

I let a tear fall. I don't know why. It's not like it's the one he made. It just reminded me of him.

She obviously saw this and held my hand, and squeezed.

Not instantly, but I felt better.

I grabbed it off the wall and put a scope on it.

I loaded it up and shot for the farthest target. 500 meters out.

I waited for the ping,

Loba watched in amazement. She looked through the spiting scope.

Loba: "Right in the dome..."

She went over to me and hugged me tight. I hugged back as I wiped my eyes, knowing that Hans would be proud.

-time skip, 9:30-

We were watching a well earned movie after 5 hours at the range, helping Loba with aim, and getting a feel for all of the guns there.

She falls asleep on my shoulder at I can't help but admire here. She was so cute and adorable.

I picked her up bridal style and carried her to my room. I could feel her snuggling up to my chest, making me feel all warm inside.

I set her down on the bed and she began reaching for me. At the feel of my absence her lip started to quiver.

I could tell she was having a dream, or was having a dream, turning into a nightmare. She was crying with slight whimpers now.

I went in bed and started talking low and soft to her.

Y/n: "Hey baby, all is fine I'm here."

She still looked frightened

Y/n: "Hi baby. I love you."

She looked calm now, a smile creeping across her face

She cuddled up to me as I held her close. I started petting her gorgeous hair.

She usually had it in two braids, but at night she would have it down. And, it was beautiful both ways.

I could feel her taking deep breaths as I was stroking her hair, and I knew she was fine now.

I fell asleep, once again, with Loba. Happy, and cuddled up against me, with her in my arms.
