Aizen's P.O.V

She struggled against my grip futilely. The drug I had put onto the cloth was fast-acting, I had hoped she wouldn't be able to struggle. I moved my left arm around her chest, holding her close to me, willing her to stop fighting. I closed my eyes pointing my head downward, something warm and wet hit the side of my cheek. That was the second time I had made her cry, I only wanted to protect her so why was it that I always ended up hurting her? She let out one final muffled sob, and then her body relaxed. I didn't let her fall to the floor, instead I lifted her up, bridal-style. I turned, and carried her down the stairs. 

"What's this, Captain Aizen?" 

I noticed that Gin was standing at the doorway, looking at us with a small frown on his face.

"Aiko will not be accompanying us tomorrow." I answered walking past him.

I felt his gaze on me as I walked away, but he made no further comment. I took Aiko back to her room. The bed she had was like the ones in the World of the Living, it was strange but she preferred it, apparently. I lay her on the bed, pulling the sheets over her. Sleeping like this, she looked a lot younger then she did when she was awake, all the worry and stress that seemed to haunt her gaze was gone. 

I knew she had nightmares when she was alone so she didn't like to sleep, but I had to leave her there and hope the drug would put her into a sleep far too deep for demons to reach.

When she woke up, she would probably be angry.

I would have to settle things in Karakura town faster so that she wouldn't get the reckless idea to charge after me. That was fine, pushing things forward wouldn't be an issue.
